Starting Age of Worms

I'm going to be running this, i will have 8 people in the group, so far i have 1 human bard, and 2 human monks(wannabe drunken masters) don't know what the other 5 are going to be, but how tough do you think it will be for a group that size.

8 players? Easy peasy to scale. Double the bad guys - off you go.

Agreed. Treat them as only one or two levels higher. They'll be alright but STILL find it very challenging nonetheless.

E-Knight,

Warriors?! Adepts? Experts?! WTF?! I don't see any of THOSE classed characters making it. Now if you want alternative classes, use the Complete series OR AE/AU.

He is referring to True20 classes. The Warrior has an combat progression equivalent to the Fighter. The Expert is more of a Rogue type (or Monk or Bard). The Adept is the spellcaster class.

I can definately see the confusion. :)

That'll teach you for not reading the first post in the thread :p

Ah! See I forgot that part. But okay.

E-Knight,

No...I just FORGOT that you said "True d20". So are you allowing say Bard, Paladin and/or Ranger as Prestige class? Cause I think you'll might need that OR at least a clerical ability to turn undead. It will prove useful as the game moves along.

Not a problem :D

If anyone doesn't have True 20 but does have Unearthed Arcana, they are basically the equivilant of the Generic Classes found in that book.

No, but I have added feats and extra powers that should cover those eventualities. Especially for turn undead. Now, if the player's take them, that is another matter altogether.

Riiightt...well again still think you need clerical ability to turn undead. Sons of Kyuss aren't exactly the most easily taken down in a party by just brute force alone, nor with decent tactics. I mean have you EVER seen evil dead?

Yep :D

I have a couple of NPCs statted up in case the player's need help. One of them is from the temple of St. Cuthbert in Diamond Lake. If they need help, it shouldn't be too hard to find it.
