Stats for Some Weird Weapons

atlatl-I understood that an atlatl was just a device used to launch a dart(shortspear) a longer distance.

Technically, that's all a bow does, too. So what are the mechanics for an atlatl as given in Sandstorm? It's an exotic ranged weapon, but what's the range increment, damage, and crit range/muliplier? I'm curious as to how it stacks up against a regular javelin or dart.

No, I meant my comment should have. I can't seem to find my complete adventurer at the moment, when I do I'll look for it. I do know that there was a harpoon in Races of Faerun, and I think in Frostburn as well. I've seen the Atlatl recently too.

And in answer to the question of are they exotic weapons, I believe that all of the ones I saw were.
