I'm wondering what would be the level equivalent of a Steam Mephit for purpose of the Leadership feat. I would guess 4 or 5 (I don't think the creature is strong enough to deserve something higher than 5), leaning toward 5 because of the Fast Healing capacity.
Here's a reminder of the mephit's stats, for those who don't have a book handy:
Small Outsider; 3d8 hp; Spd 30 ft., fly 50 ft. (avg); +4 natural armor; 2 claw attacks (damage 1d3 + 2 fire); Breath Weapon: 10-ft. cone of steam, damage 1d4 + morale penalties, save DC 12; Spell-Like abilities: blur as 3rd-level caster once per hour and boiling rainstorm in a 20-ft. square area once per day, save DC 15; fire subtype; fast healing 2 in boiling water; damage reduction 5/+1; Str 10, Dex 13, Con 10, Int 12, Wis 11, Cha 15.
