Stonefist Academy - 3.5 D&D - OOC - Recruiting Closed

Well, with those two concepts down... there's not really a lot "off the wall" I can think of. All we're really missing is a Utility Wizard. And I loathe Wizards.

Then again, I could still do Bard/Warlock.

Sphyh - Deepwood Sniper is from Masters of the Wild. Again, I am trying to keep this to the books listed above. Order of the Bow Initiate, Highland Stalker, etc are acceptable alternatives. Or we could look at what is appealing for the Deepwood Stalker and see how we can incorporate a variation on abilities through the tattoo.

DarkWood Stalker seems like it would be fun to play. pg 23 of complete warrior

Warlock would give some extra arcane attacking power. My only concern with that is the unlimited-use one-trick-pony, which you may grow bored with. And there's the "Chaotic And/Or Evil"

Warlock arent bad. You could go with a hexblade. I have played one in the past and really enjoyed it. Also Warmage might be interesting.

Well, can't do *anything* without stats.

Set 1: 11/10/15/15/16/14
Set 2: 12/9/9/13/17/11

Gee, tough choice there... Set 1 for the win.

Darkwood Stalker - Very nice! And I think it will be handy in this campaign.

Warlock's - I have never Dm'ed someone playing that class, and only ever played one campaign with a Warlock. This should be interesting!

If anyone has concerns about anything in this campaign, please send me a pm or let me know here.

. The cleric seems to be a reasonable meat-shield type, to me at least. I don't know how he's going to be played. Still, he has a good AC and a martial weapon. Hard to go wrong with that.
The character philosophy is basically a paladin, but I do not like paladins all that much. He has no problem being the meat shield, as I built him as a sword and board cleric. The divine spells are to assist him in his crusade against the evil he is born to protect. Consider Magic Vestmant and GMW part of his daily spells once he is 9.

As for classes, the only PrC I plan in taking is Ordained Champion. The big reason is his Alingment needs to be LG for the other PrC I would take (Sacred Exorsist) but I like the Cleric 4 /Ordained Champion 5 /Cleric 11 build as well. Also, I did not want to lose progression any more, as OrdChamp loses two spell progression.

So yes, Bard/Warlock is the plan, starting with Bard 1.

Array goes S 14 D 15 C 15 I 11 W 10 Ch 16; I thought some possible front-line support could be in order, so I pumped Str vs Int. This character is going mostly social (Diplomacy, Bluff, Gather Info) with a few Knowledge (Nobility, History) and Use Magic Device (of course).

Short answer: Aspiring Actress. Got an interesting idea for back story revolving around parents working both sides of the "law" before fleeing the scene and farming it up for their daughter's safety. But the Academy's siren song calls to her, drawing her closer to the Rogues who are looking for vengeance on a certain pair of vigilantes...

jackslate45 - Is the character keen on destroying undead versus merely making them flee? Also, do you see yourself as utilizing/empowering that aspect of the clerical abilities? What's your forte as a character that you want to build upon?

Hero - I like the concept. Bard is good, and will easily help the group out. If you could get me a brief description, and if she uses an instrument or simply recites poetry, etc, then I can work on finding an image to use for her.

Hey guys. Do you still have room for another player? I noticed you mentioned that you had 1 slot open still.

I think hero just filled it but I would wait for the final word from the DM

FtF - yea it really just clicked with the background and the character I already built. Im thinking 5 maybe 6 levels in Ranger and then make the transition. Sound good?
