Edit: My mistake! That room has bugbears not hobgoblins.

The bugbears head up the embankment, grumbling as they attempt to climb over the large fence placed to keep the pigs from escaping. The head through the tunnel, in no real order, not expecting a fight. Two finally appear around the corner and there eyes go wide as they see the unexpected group.

Aremus had been holding his sword up while the bugbears approached. He now brought it down in a conclusive "Commence Attack!" motion. Then he rushed toward the first bugbear and stabbed at the creature.

Twin chilling beams leap from Tranio's fingers as he points at the first two bugbears to round the corner.

(and, if there is a second bugbear within 5': [roll2], damage [roll3].

"I understand your concerns, friend Dwarf, but I think we are not yet at the point of retreat." Aremus shook his head, while defending himself from oncoming Bugbears, "We must be ready to leave at any moment, certainly, but I think we should press on. We must try to strike a more significant blow, if we are able. Two dead giants is not enough. Hardly worth having done at all. No, we must proceed, at least for now."

"My concerns are that we will not be able to strike any kind of blow if we get hemmed in. Better would be to retreat and strike on the chase party. Or we can circle around them and return here. But staying as if we can choose when we will retreat is folly. When you realize you're at the point of retreat it may well be too late!" Ordrar defends others with his shield

OOC: forgot to say: immediate action (reaction) to impose disadvantage on attack vs one of the PCs (most wounded or first come first served as the case may be)
