D&D 5E Storm King's Thunder

Double post, editing doesn't allow rolls...

Use the attacks on the other giant if first one is killed. Once we all assemble.

Aremus could not bring himself to attack a sleeping foe, though he believed that the others were right to do so. He held back, watching the hallway that led toward the Ettin. He held his bow and an arrow at the ready, in case the giants awoke in fury. If they got up and became dangerous, he would not hesitate to shoot, but he hoped that the others would finish them off.

OOC: If they do get up, he'll shoot: [roll0] for [roll1] damage and then fire again [roll2] for [roll3] damage.

Fistan

It struck Fistan as devious to be attacking a sleeping foe, but he was also sure no quarter would be shown if the giants were awake. The flash from his magic wasn't ideal, as it might waken the other giant, but he figured it was worth the risk.

Fistan attack and damage rolls Crit: 2D20.HIGH(1)+7 = [18, 3]+7 = 25
4D10 = [6, 10, 2, 10] = 28

Your combined surprise attacks would instantly kill one of the sleeping giants, but it takes much more effort than anyone would have anticipated. There isn't enough strength left to finish off the other. The bloodied, enraged hill giant would rise to its feet and then toss its entire bed at poor Dren! Thankfully, it flies overhead and crashes against the cave wall.

Bed Toss: 1D20+8 = [3]+8 = 11

"Oh oh. Let's try to keep this as quiet as possible!" said Aremus, though he expected this could happen, "I wish Carolina were here."

He kept up the pace, firing arrows at the Giant, and he hoped none of his friends would be squished.

OOC: Staying as far away as is reasonable: [roll0] for [roll1] and [roll2] for [roll3]

Round 0

Dren ducked the flying bed and then darted over to the remaining giant. They needed to put him down quick and quiet before he alerted the others! The dwarf’s axe missed, but his fist slammed into the monster’s dangly bits.
