Streaming services, which do you have or are you getting rid of?

Current annual subs:
Prime Video (as part of Amazon Prime)
Paramount+ (they made me a deal I couldn't refuse - a year of commercial-free Star Trek for $60)
Max (got a decent deal through Amex)

Currently on rotation:
Hulu + Disney+ (for Shōgun, Interior Chinatown, and Skeleton Crew)
ESPN+ (will drop this tomorrow after the Australian Open ends)

More importantly, this is year I finally cut the cord!

Currently have
- Crunchyroll
- Disney+/Hulu bundle
- Netflix
- Prime

Crunchyroll gets the most use. Prime is mostly for the shipping. Netflix might become a rotation service thanks to the price hike and the binge model for their shows.

I have Prime Video, but that's more of a side effect of having Prime for shipping - the Secret Level stuff is the first thing I watched in quite a while. Currently, I also have Netflix - subscribed there for Godzilla Minus One last summer and stayed because of the Tomb Raider series. I will probably at least check if I like the upcoming Witcher animation series, otherwise I might cancel again. If I do, I might subscribe to Disney+ for Shogun FX instead. I generally don't spend too much time in front of the TV, though, and I also have a few Blu-rays to watch, so maybe I'll also just drop subscriptions outside Prime completely again.

THREAD, ARISE FROM YOUR GRAVE!

Just turned off Netflix until November and the final season of Stranger Things in favor of Hulu, for that (hopefully) sweet Alien: Earth action. (Sorry, Peacemaker and Mighty Nein; your times will come.)

We now keep Dropout on and have one higher-priced streaming service at a time. Rotating like this, we end up with pretty beefy catalogs of content to burn through at at time, rather than flipping listlessly through a bunch of streaming services we're paying for at the same time, all of which have been mostly picked clean of the good stuff already.

I’m still with HBO (it was never Max to me), and Prime (though I’d dump it in an instant if not for shipping), and Netflix (was on the bubble but interesting enough it’s the syndicated offerings keeping me)

Soon I’ll sub up for NFL and maybe peacock if they do another football season deal. I used to get P+ during Black Friday Amazon special, but I can’t think of anything I actually want from paramount. I might actually get Apple for the first time later this year.

I have basic Prime and Paramount. When Strange New Worlds concludes, I'll likely stop Paramount - I don't have faith Starfleet Academy will be something I enjoy.

I was paying yearly for Disney, but didn't renew after Mandalorian ended, so sometime soon (if not already) I'll lose it.

I got rid of Netflix when Stranger Things went dormant, but I really want to see the last season.
