Stunting targets movement, ranged archer help

Hello, I am currently playing a character very focused into bow use from 2 or more range increments. Something, that is bothering me is that I know if someone gets the jump on me my melee might not be able to keep me alive long enough to survive the encounter.
To fix this I have looked into called shots for 3.0, 3.5 and pathfinder. The rules do not exist.
I was wondering if someone could suggest a class with a feature, feat, Magical gear or clever method, that would allow me to half or better the movement of a threatening enemy?

Arrowmind is a Ranger 1, Assassin 1, Sor/Wis 1 spell that lets you threaten and make AoO with your arrows. You get to shoot people in the face when they try to cozy up to you. It's wintastic!
 



Currently I am Rogue 3, Fighter 3. Str 12, dex 20, con 10, Int 16, wiz 18, Cha 14. I see, wizard would probably be a better choice then.
 

Make that a Conjurer dip with the Abrupt Jaunt ACF (Player's Handbook II). That way, you won't have to worry about melee anytime soon. In my opinion, AJ Conjurer is one of the strongest dips in the game.
