Suicide Squad

which DC movies have been excellent? I'd love to see them...

The Nolan Batman movies were superb. In particular, The Dark Knight is the best superhero movie since the original Superman.

I also very much enjoyed Man of Steel. I liked that it was darker and grittier than Marvel's fare, and I like the risks they took with the character which allows them to give him a character arc over multiple movies.

And Suicide Squad so far looks fantastic, as does BvS. For the latter, I'm very interested in the concept of how the world would react to a Superman, and how it would polarise in opinion. This is a theme that, if they pull it off, will be very compelling viewing to me.

I'm very glad that given the 20-odd Superhero movies the two studios are putting out between them over the next decade, there will be two very different, distinct flavours. If the upcoming DC slate felt like the Marvel formula, the sheer volume would fatigue me more than it already has.

YMMV.

finally Morrus - it may be me, but aren't the fingers on that Deadshot pic a bit too pale to be Will Smith?

Lighting on the pic has been cranked up, showing the black parts of the outfit but washing out the lighter darks, like his skin color. :/ If you look close it shows.

All that I can say about Suicide Squad is that they damned well better be giving me free tickets when it's released, because filming is messing with my morning commute ;)
