I wonder whether old superheroes with the power of flight end up with chronic pain from always having to keep their head tilted up to see where they are going. I keep my head above water while swimming and it creates some problems which I imagine must be quite similar.

Reminds me of a line from Lois & Clark, the 90s TV show:

Villain (looks down at Clark’s tights): Don’t you get chafing?

Clark (patiently): No, because I’m invulnerable.

Why is it the more I see of these trailers, the less I'm excited for the movie? If the purpose of these is to hype it, they're failing with me at least.

It's something that seems to happen with some Gunn movie and TV show trailers.

It's weird, I've definitely experienced it myself. The trailers for the original Guardians of the Galaxy basically convinced me I should not watch it - I only went because my brother really wanted to. Likewise Peacemaker, and GotG3. GotG3 I only went to in the end because there was nothing else on and I wanted to see something, but I kind of loved that movie.

But when you actually see them they're often cohesive and impactful in ways that trailers don't adequately convey.

Right now, the trailer is perfect - I’m hyped yet nothing about the movie has really been spoiled. But this is also going to be the last trailer of the movie that I will intentionally watch because I want to preserve that. I’m suitably hyped and subsequent movie trailers tend to add more footage and play tantalizingly close to, if not over the line, of spoilers.
