I read up on thunder rift it sounds way to artificial for my liking kind of like a wildlife preserve for fledgling heroes.

Precisely - I'd bet on the winner being one of those that less that 1% of the people who use this forum have ever played - and that many had never heard of before this thread. The anti-grog brigade will probably now target Mystara and Blackmoor for no reason other than they are old.

Sad to see Dark Sun go, it was innovative and interesting - a shining beacon in the mass of 2E's mediocre splat.
