Very sad to see two of my favourites - Pirates and Knight's Tale - getting hammered here.

Pirates is a fairly D&Dish movie, but Knight's Tale really isn't. I love it, but it's a medieval sports film and rock opera.

Willow was way ahead of its time. In a day when "halflings" couldn't become wizards, we've got an aspiring one who gets his spellbook in the end. Add in a great backstory to how the party met and you're off with trolls, polymorph spells, love potions and brownies.
