IMO, all of the pole arms with fancy French names, with designs copied from other pole arms, deserve to lose. Damn frogs think that adding a fleur-de-lis to the back of a glaive makes it special. No, it's just deformed, like an inbred goldfish.

Bardiche = Pole Axe
Fauchard = mutant Glaive
Guisarme = mutant Bill Hook
Ranseur = Partisan = Pike with wings
Voulge = so many different shapes over the years, all copies of other pole arms.

Also:
Lucern Hammer = Bec de Corbin (one of the few that deserves a fancy French name).
Lochaber Axe = so many different shapes over the years, mostly NOT axes. Those Scots just copied whatever pole arm and called them all the same thing.

It's in disguise. The Guisarme-Voulge is listed in the 1e PHB as including the Lochaber Axe. It's there, but with a cooler name.

Edit: Of course the Guisarme is listed as including the Bill Hook, yet both are up there. Vote fraud?
