Swashbuckling Cards

[Knight-of-Roses]

We used to play in a Legend of the Five Rings (L5R) campaign, as L5R is based on a CCG, we used cards from the CCG as Swashbuckling/Whimsey cards. Much fun.

I have been trying to put together a deck for my current D&D campaign by cribbing cards from various games (Warlord, Magic, Legend of the Burning Sands, 7th Sea). But I have not used it yet.

For all the LoTR or other 'epic' fantasy, I think my ideas of what an epic adventure is came from a bunch of bunnies who were too dumb to bring along the does in the first place... When they needed a deux ex mechania, they went and got one for themselves. and it had a true ensemble cast...
