Pathfinder 1E Sword of Valor, Wrath of the Righteous AP Part 2 with your hosts Scotley and MLeibrock

Banaq joins the fight and buries a shaft deep in the belly of the obviously wounded demon. It again howls in fury but seems to be unable to combat the ferocity of the group's number of attacks.

Sir Sheldon uses his Mythic Smite to it's full potential and the demon falls to the ground, rather anticlimactically.

The fight appears to be over. Any one desire to inspect the demon?

Sir Sheldon, with sword and shield still in hand, drops his shield [free action] and takes his sword in both hands and cries out at the top of his lungs, "For the mistress of light, I BANISH YOU!!!"

A burst of light bursts from his sword and his eyes burn with holy fire!

ooc: Ok, let's see if I can get this right . . . .

Banaq, elf sorcerer

Banaq will INSPECT it, from a distance, but doesn't want to touch it. What is he able to observe? Oh, he can also direct Sir Sheldon's more thorough and physical inspection....

Sir Sheldon uses his strength to pry open the pincer. "Thank you for holding me right where I needed to be." He says in an extreme sarcastic tone. He stands, stretches, and twists himself to get the kinks out of his rather injured self.

"So, what kind of demon are you. What were your weaknesses. What cn you tell of yourself in betryal to you kin." He lifts an shifts the creature about using whatever knowledge he has to glean.

knowledge: religeon

Thorn strolls over, already winding her chain back up again and nursing her wounds. Her normal saunter is more of a limp, and she's definitely favoring one arm over the other.

"That was a pretty serious demon to just stumble over," she remarks. "Following us, you think?"

Gorum-var still blazed in Denir's hand, he appears still somewhat out of his usual mood, though this time perhaps for missing the chance to use his sword. "Do these things regenerate?" he asks looking at the demon warily. "Who is hurt? Thorn? Sheldon?'

"I am indeed hurt and I am sure thorn is torn up too. I am not sure of the ability to regenerate,as I am still examining it."

Randlay relaxes his arms a bit, letting Bessy drop to the resting position. The crusader has a certain swagger as he walks up to the demon creature, and as he does so removes the spent ammo clip and snaps in another. In the dim light he gazes down on it for a moment, as if contemplating the creature. And then without warning he raises Bessy back up and pumps two more bolts into its head. "Regenerate that," he says smugly, then turns to head presently back to camp.

The creature is nearly as distrubing in death as it was in life. It combines the features of a horse and scorpion with faces peeking out from within its claws. Known as a Kithangian, they have only only been documented near the Worldwound and are presumed to be fairly rare. Kithangians, also known as beast demons, are reprehensible monstrosities born from the souls of those who abused and tormented animals in life. Universally male, the sudden spread of fiendish elements through within an area's fauna is a sure indication of a kithangian's presence in a region. The fact that most creatures that birth litters of young with the half-fiendish template die in the process is of little concern to the kithangian, for it merely moves on to new hunting grounds when uncorrupted animal victims grow too rare. It is not uncommon for the Kithangian to turn foes into beasts and then use compulsion magic to mate with them. Some fairly disturbing stories have circulated about such encounters over the years. It does provide one possible and disturbing reason why no 'human' survivors have been found in the area.
