A few more questions have popped up:

1) When I use my Lightning Kopesh's At-Will Power, "All damage dealt by this weapon is Lightning Damage", does that mean all damage dealt by the entire power, all damage that isn't already "typed" in the power, or just the [W] damage itself is Lightning damage?

Take for example, a power that deals 1[W]+INT mod damage, then deals 1d6+INT mod Thunder damage. Would this all be Lightning, would just the first damage roll be lightning, or just the damage dealt by the [W]?

2) Some of my class powers allow me to use them in place of the basic attack granted by my Aegis of Assault class ability. I have a feat that grants +3 extra damage on the basic attack granted by my Assault class ability; Does this +3 damage apply even if I switch out the basic attack for a class power?

Class power reads as such: "Aegis of Assault: When you use your aegis of assault immediate reaction, you can use this power in place of the melee basic attack."

Feat reads as: "When you make a melee basic attack granted by your aegis of assault, you gain a +3 bonus to damage of a type based on your current elemental manifestation."

You basically "add" the lightning to each type.

So the first part goes from untyped to lightning.

The second becomes lightning and thunder.

This matters because you take the "best" damage when comparing against immunity/resistance/vulnerability. For example, if someone is resistant to thunder but vulnerable to lightning, they would be vulnerable to the attack.

You would only get the +3 when actually using the basic attack. By replacing it with an encounter/daily power you wouldn't get the +3.

Many thanks. It was my thinking that it changed all damage straight to Lightning, which is a lot less useful then adding it on instead. Good to know.

2) I thought so. Time to change my feats again.
