OOC: What is the status of the Gremlin thing? After taking the Power Thrust and two grapples is it still resisting? Have we been able to turn the eye-beams away?

If the Gremlin-thing is still struggling or the eye-beams have not been turned: Aquaphibian shifts his grapple to the head of the Gremlin-thing and twists to turn the eye-beams away from the blob (and perhaps twist the head off completely).

AP round #2 attack/grapple (1d20+10=28, 1d20+20=28)

Gremlin concentrates on fighting back, and manages to squirm free from both Aquaphibian and Twilight Gryphon. He turns and hits Wild Mask, knocking him to to the ground with the blow. Ghosts attack seems to have more effect this time, although it barely yields a grunt from the dwarf. Twilight Gryphon notices the growing form is now over six feet tall and sports a mass of tentacles.

OOC: Gremlin more or less used something like heat-vision last round. Sorry soo late with the post tonight. Long day with a work related presentation I had to go to tonight.

With that said Gryphon flies over and strikes the blob creature before flying out of reach.

OOC: Attack 28 Toughness 25
Using Favored Environment (air) to gain an additional +1 Dodge Bonus to Defense
 

"This is not going so pocking well is it?", Ghost thinks to himself as the blob grows tenticles and Gremlin seems to shrug off his blows.

OOC: Rinse, lather and repeat - another attack on Gremlin
 

OOC: Wow, Gremlin has been making some pretty impressive damage saves and grapple rolls, this is going to be tough.

"I'll try to pin down Gremlin" Aquaphibian shouts back to TG as he continues to wrestle with Gremlin.

Attack, and if successful improved grab grants a grapple as a free action.

AP round #3 attack and improved grab grapple (1d20+10=30, 1d20+20=38)

OOC: It is a "tough" damage save to resist the attack, DC25. Except that this looks like a critical hit (natural 20 on attack roll) so the DC is 30.

Sorry for the delay. I've been moving furniture all weekend. I also need to doublecheck some of the grappling rles based on the comment above. Need to make sure I'm doing it right. Look for an update later tonight.
 

Aquaphibian lands a massive blow on Gremlin, before deftly moving in and tying him up. Ghost follows up with a telekinetic blast that seems to add to his pain. Once again, Wild Mask's kick isn't powerful enough to harm the pint size hero.


Across the lab, Twilight Gryphon moves in hitting the tentacled horror. It lets out an enormous screech, forcing Intrepid to cover his ears. Seconds later a tentacle lashes out farther than the heroes would have suspected and hits TG in the back as she flies away. Intrepid concentrates his mental energies on the beast, focusing on the weak edges of its will. It bellows again, and moves toward the hero in a slithering motion.

OOC: TG is bruised.
 

Twilight Gryphon grits her teeth as the thing hits her, curving one wing she arcs around and flies back at the thing lashing out at a tenticle with her claws.

and if possible and if she gets a hold she's going to fly forward and use the momentum of her flight to throw the thing away from Intrepid and the others.

Ghost sees that his current foe is mostly subdued and so rushes to aid Twilight Gryphon sying, "Yo! Reject from a Cthulu novel. Its not cool to grope the honies K?"

Ghost moves under the floor and then right under it using his usual power thrust attack with +1 reach. auto hit, +10, DC 25 toughness
