SX:3 From the Bowels of Philadelphia (Hero For Hire Judging)

"Wow, Circe and Gun Monkey, now that's what I call backup! OK, we've got tank-bots galore, but they are not our primary target. We need to get around them and into the complex. Any efforts to damage the dam must be stopped." Aquaphibian comments to the team as he surveys the situation.

"I can both tell you exactly where in the complex he is(OOC: Salix hasn't gotten back on that, but she should be able to) and teleport directly there. Unfortunate that you decided to attack before I arrived or we might have kept the element of surprise, Sierra comments, "Oh, and no need for formalities--they made up my stupid codename anyway, and it feels like something out of Stargate SG-1. You can just call me Sierra, hon."

OOC: Long day at work. Just got home. Look for an update tomorrow.

[Sblock=RA] I'm considering reneging on letting Sierra stay. She wasn't appropriate before, because she only affects biological organisms. I just read her character sheet, and now with this ring device she's way out of balance. Is that even a legal build? I think I might go with just the three original characters and scale down. Give me a day to consider.[/sblock]

[SBLOCK=Salix](OOC: No worries either way you decide. Perfectly legal, and approved as well. It has a big weakness to being lifted up or dumped in the water, and it's a device, so you can disarm it easily with her terrible attack bonus ;))[/SBLOCK]

"Stealth was the objective, hence the departure from the Vigilant rather then letting it land and proceeding on foot. There may be more then just robots, one of Null's organic experiments escaped there may be a chance that we encounter it here. Hopefully it hasn't increased in mass since it was no longer being fed by the Gremlin clone Twilight Gryphon says letting Aquaphibian down but keeping herself in the air, "How shall we proceed, Aquaphibian?"

[sblock=RA] I don't want to have to disarm her. I think it will be easier with her being called elsewhere. Sorry about that. She's way overbuilt compared to the other PCs, especialy as you are trying to use her. [/sblock]

"I'd like to get us all into the complex. The only thing that will happen if we stay out here is a big battle with the tank-bots. I don't see how that battle will be instrumental in stopping Dr. Null's plans, so let's go inside." Aquaphibian replies.

As the heroes prepare to bolt into the access door leading into the control room, Wheeler's voice comes over their communicators, " Circe, Gun Monkey! Another emergency has cropped up. Report back to headquarters immediately." "Damn Him!", exclaims Gun Monkey, and then, just as soon as the arrived, they depart. The remaining heroes blink, and then enter the control room. Inside they see all the apparatus for operating the dam, but not no signs of anyone, least of all Dr. Null!

OOC: We'll run this with just the three characters from here. The control room is atop the dam itself. The tank bots are below on the ground. In the attached image, the two grey rectangles appear to be powerhouses to the heroes. The "antennae" extending from the dam into the reservoir are intake towers connected by access bridges to the dam. The bots are climbing towards them via an access ramp on the west side of the dam. Let me know if you have any other questions about the layout.
