OOC: Sorry. This wasn't popping as new in my phone

Taranis, realizing they are fighting stronger foes than first suspected calls out in a strange tongue and a wave of thunder hits the 3 toads on the left side facing him blowing them apart with the sound of his baratone voice!

Thadeous's spell sends one of the younger toads into a magical slumber.

Kestrel's sword slides off the toad's slippery hide, but she feels a satisfying crunch beneath her palm. This seems to only enrage the creature, however.

OOC: Meadowlark's damage roll didn't take for some reason so I'm going to roll to save time and move things forward. [roll0]

Meadowlark stabs the massive toad right beneath its eye. This doesn't seem to deter the creature from its meal, however.

The water on the left side of the trail is violently parted as Taranis' sends a peel of thunder echoing through the swamp. Kestrel barely holds her feet, despite being on the edge of the spell.

The baby toad on the right side of the trail that isn't sleeping tries to wrap its mouth around Meadowlark.

Meadowlark's arm is engulfed by the thing's maw.

OOC: Meadowlark and the baby toad are both considered grappled. Meadowlark can attempt to escape with a DC 11 Strength (Athletics) or Dexterity (Acrobatics) check.
