Taking away the shame...of Roleplaying!

You know very well that I am not gay. I just don't chase after everything with a coot and 2 legs....like some people.
;)

Intersting expression.

Back on topic...

No reason to ever be ashamed of being a gamer, IMO. Been one since the early seventies and I've never had a problem with it. If someone else does/has a problem with my gaming, that's their cross to bear.

Chessex Pound-o-Dice

easy to find on ebay. a pound of dice for eight bucks. not bad.

but honestly, that his and his thing WOULD get rather confusing, no?

I just had an interesting though that makes perfect sense. The majority of people picking on 'nerds' in getting back at them in advance. What for? For succeeding, whereas the rest end up working retail or in Fast Food places.:D

wait a second, you're gay?

didn't know that.

Indeed. and I addicted my hubby to DnD. and Buffy. He addicted me to MMORPGS and Queer as Folk

Yes actualy it would get confusing Ang especialy since we both have the same favorite colour..(blue)...

Edit: yes I know I spell "colour" etc like H.P. Lovecraft or Tolkien. its on purpose/out of habbit.

Not to hijack this thread... but my favorite color in dice... is orange... the dice bag itself can be any color... but something dark is preferable. :D

I just assumed you were a Brit. :D

Lately, I find I have to defend my love of Buffy more than I do my love of gaming. :(

I know of one marriage that sometimes looks like it is based on gaming. I have actually seen fights because the wife wants to play Dark Age of Camelot, and he wants to sit and read Dragon. Pretty funny really, because DAoC is quality time. This is also a couple who rather than candies or flowers gets gaming materials, which I think is very cool. Also, a set of those jade dice from Cystal Cast-- I think she loves those more than the necklace Tiffany's necklace she got for Christmas.

These are some of my best friends. The extreme of love and games. :D

You know the only time my hobby has really been a problem with my social life is when my grlfriends consider it to be taking away from time with them. I always have to explain it is no different than wednesday night poker, pool and drinks with my buds, manicures, shopping, or hangning out in pet shops and animal shelters. Its a hobby, the point is to waste time, and to clear your mind of everything else.

LOL that sounds a lot like us. We havent really had the money for a lot of gift giving but what extra we have is usualy spent on RPG stuff and movies.
Ohh also you asked where I was located in Hivemind a while back Skade..I'm in Indiana now

Merlion, Indiana huh? That's a bit too far to drive for a game.

I think I should turn the tables, and the next woman I date needs to be a gamer.

I will just have to add that to my usual requirements of tall, brunette, posessing a keen intellect, and scathing wit, who also happens to enjoy goind to the theatre, or poetry readings. Odd thing is I usually date women who are short, blonde, watches hockey and play pool better than I do.
