Dessarin/Stone Monastery
Day 7/Night
Round 0

“Guard the rear!” Errol called to Ilvelious. “I’ll finish this beast!” He stabbed his rapier at Jurth again, hoping to down the bloody, injured orog.

OOC: I’m not sure there is room for another front liner against the ogre/orogs on the stairs behind them? Errol will be back on his bow soon.

And here’s an interesting question: The thp on Duran. Do they stay on his form or do they go to his bear form? If they don’t go to his bear form (as you have indicated in the notes), can Errol’s Rallying Cry give more thp to the bear?

He will check the noise isn't attracting any attention from further on, and probably move back to the front line next turn, if that is possible?

Duran focuses on defeating the ogre hopefully before it can hit him again as well, it hurts.

No, the stairway is quite tight for two abreast or one large creature - I was tempted to make it a squeeze, but changed my mind.

And yes, that is quite interesting. I can't find anything online to say either way, but the way I read THP - being a spell(like) effect, I'm going to say they can transfer with wild shape, like barkskin, etc. Rallying cry can also be added to Duran's bear form, as he can hear/understand you. I'll update the post to reflect this.

J.V. turns his attention to 3 burly creature below him on the stairs. He sighs heavily, muttering "It's going to be one of those days, isn't it?"

OOC: Move Hex to Ogre. Casting dissonent whispers on Ogre, Wisdom save, on a fail use reaction to move speed away, or save for half dmg. [roll0] [roll1]

OOC: Problem is, THP don't stack. Though with that hit, the THP should be gone first, so Duran should have 6 extra real hp. Then Rallying Cry can go on. That's why I asked, since the THP were still listed on Duran's HP.

Round 4

Eroll finishes off Jurth with an attack from his rapier, leaving Illvilious free to drink a healing potion. Nariah and J.V. both switch targets to the Ogre, Nariah targeting the giant physically while J.V. attacks his mind. The brute retreats briefly under the onslaught, but returns to the fight after the other two orogs shout at it. He takes another huge swing at Duran that connects with a thud that can be felt by everyone in the stairway. The injured orog continues to drag his magically held friend back to the door.
