Round 4

Nariah calls on her fey energy and dancing lights flitter around the rushing orcs. Two of them are caught in the magic and the lights dance across their forms. Errol moves along the cage and lets loose a bolt that catches the orc square in the chest. He stumbles and for just a moment it seems that he's down but he manages to pick himself up again. Quickly changes his aim to the other blooded orc, Erol manages to catch him a blow too. Thateous follows that with an arrow of his own that drops the second orc. Illvilious charges forward swinging his staff, but the blow glances off the orc's chain, before taking a more defensive stance as the remaining orcs close in on him.

The orc warlord returns Illvilious attacks but the nimble monk manages to stay out of reach. The remaining blood orc charges down Erol, intent on revenge, but his range and his injuries stop him from landing a blow. The last orc standing moves round to flank Illvilious but his ax gets caught in the tent.

The prisoners in the cages are emboldened by the rescue attempt and start to untie the cages.

Errol turned and sent a bolt flying at the orc warchief.

IF NARIAH DIDN’T KILL THE BLOOD ORC

Errol took a step back as the orc swung at him. He whipped out Reszor, the magical rapier they had found in the monastery, and stabbed at the orc.

Reszor was commissioned by a soldier turned assassin to enhance his ability to kill without being detected. It has a star motif etched into the blade and the handle is of blue leather. Dried blood clings to the blade and cannot be cleaned off. The weapon counts as magical and when you make an attack against on opponent while hidden the attack will make no noise. Additionally, when you make an attack with this weapon and get to use bonus damage dice, such as superiority dice or sneak attack dice, roll an additional die and discard the lowest. When you say the command word "Reszor" the blade will glow with dim light out to a 5ft radius, saying the command word again will turn the light off. Finally there is a mild curse on the blade that drives the wielder to kill. After rendering an opponent incapacitated or unconscious make a DC7 WIS saving throw to stop yourself from killing the creature.

Nariah's blast finished off the wounded blood orc. Illvilious swings at the orc warchief, this time catching the brute on the shoulder, before taking a defensive stance again. Errol pulls out the magical rapier he'd been carrying, but the could not aim the unfamiliar blade well enough to land a blow. Thateous looses another arrow at the warchief, but it goes wide.

GM: Sorry I have been a tad busy this weekend


Gormok looks around the battle field unsure of what to do until he sees one of his rescuers being ganged up by multiple orcs and heads in that direction.

OOC: Gormok trees 30ft towards ilvy the end square doesn't matter.
