D&D 5E Tall's PotA Campaign - IC

"Let us go north, then!" Ilvellios whispered.

He moved to side of the doorway and placed his hand on the handle, checking the others were ready before opening the door and stepping to the side of the wall.

Riverguard Keep,
Early Evening, Day 5

Old bookshelves line the walls of this room, but most are empty. One old shelf has been restocked with a selection of tomes. A single slit window lets in some light, directly under the window is a desk and chair, with a leather coat draped over it. Near the desk is a bed, that has a sleeping occupant - a fat looking woman with greenish skin.

Seeing the sleeping woman, Errol lowered his crossbow and glanced at the others. He pulled a set of manacles out of his pack and closed the door once everyone was inside the room. He pulled one of his daggers and walked up to the bed.

Pressing the dagger to the woman’s throat, Errol shook her awake. “Make a sound, I slit your throat,” Errol whispered harshly. “On your stomach. Put your hands behind your back.” He let the dagger prick her skin enough to draw blood.

Seeing Errol's intentions, and being of the same mind, Ilvellios also moved over to the bed and grabbed one of the woman's limbs.

OOC:
Does this assistance grant advantage on the intimidate roll? Do we need a stealth check to sneak up on her?

Riverguard Keep,
Early Evening, Day 5

GM: I'll allow advantage on the intimidate roll, because there are a few of you and she's just woken up. Stealth DC 9 would be required to sneak up on her (I should have mentioned that in my previous post), but as you can see below, you are a sneaky bunch.

The woman wakes with a start and fear quickly fills her eyes as she assesses the situation. “Make a sound, I slit your throat,” Errol whispered harshly. “On your stomach. Put your hands behind your back.” At his Errol's instruction her eyes narrow in devious thought before she rolls over and allows herself to be manacled. Despite her apparent compliance, you're not convinced she is beaten.

With the woman’s hands secured, Errol sheathed his dagger again. He pulled out some rope and bound her legs, as well, before resting his weight on her back to keep her pinned.

“Search the room,” he whispered to the others. To the woman, he said, “Who are you? How many people are here in the keep? You can get out of this alive if you cooperate. Otherwise we kill you.”

Once he was happy that the woman was restrained, Ilvellios joined Duran in the search, paying particular attention to the desk.
