GM: Can the dead one be healed back up or is that a characteristic only granted to PCs? I don't think there is anything RAW that says it doesn't, I just don't usually bother. Since the rules no longer allow for subdual damage, I'm happy for you to revive fallen enemies - or in this case fallen beasts.

JV wanders down to the fallen wolf and, with outstretched hands, revives the beast. Taking care to remove the bolt first.

Errol shook his head as JV raised the dead wolf. “Waste of a spell. We could have had wolf steaks and the coat would be worth something to those farmers. Probably a bounty, too.”
