"A good idea...though the Ogre we fought in the forest were very dangerous. We will all need to take extra care... I think we should worry about getting past those two arrogant warriors back there, first, however."

Troi nods his head in agreement. "Hmm... dunno 'bout any ogres, but I'll be sure ta watch out for 'em. As for those two guys out by the bar..."

He quickly insures that all his weaponry is easily accessible.

"Shall we go deal with them?"

WhatKu said:
"I fear that im not the most stealthy person around. Im sure I could do decently, but if someone was really looking out for us, I doubt I could avoid them. If you fear my overtness, will ruin the mission, then by all means, I will go to the monastery."

Thurgan harrumped and took a long swig of dwarven ale. "I 'pose I better come along with one of yer groups. I'm was wonderin' about the tower, myself and the dwarven mage an' all. Though I learned long ago ta go where I was told. As fer what I do - I'm a smith by trade . . . I've got some skills with the hammer and know my way 'round a lock or trap 'er two - havin' built several over my years as an apprentice smith."

"I can wait on building me shop . . . I think I need more of that 'capital' stuff anyway . . . or so I'm told," Thurgan said in his customary deep voice."

Smiling to himself, Thale nods. "I fear they may be a problem later if we dont set them straight now. Unless a few more people voluntere, I will go to the tower." Thale slides the pan pipes back into his backpack, and finishes off his ale.

Velbrik nods. "Excellent, then; it appears we have a group."

"They have promised not to harm us unless we are in league with 'Demron.' It would be foolish to a pick a fight unless we have a clearer idea of what would be involved in that."

"Hmm... I thought it was Demroch." Troi says, thinking. He shrugs. "Whatever, though. You may be right, though I don't appreciate 'em bein' in the Inn, it seems ta be messin' Joe up somethin' bad, y'know? But if ya think it'd be a bad idea ta mess with 'em... well, you're th' guy who knows things, eh?" He shrugs.

As the door opens to the Red Dragon Inn, the newcomer seems tempted to just leave again, seeing the rather intimidating pair in the center of the bar. But seeing the varying levels of annoyance aimed at them by a group almost as tough looking, he screws up his courage and enters. Standing at the bar, he clears his throat and announces with courtly diction, “I bring you greetings from the kingdom of Earling. His majesty has need of a group both strong and clever, noble and capable of appearing otherwise. The task is not without risk, but the reward is great, both in coin and royal gratitude… I will wait here for those capable of the task.”

"Demroch; you are correct. I didn't see Joe before I joined our planning committee, though - if you think it's worthwhile, we could see if we could provide intervention for the problem they're brewing up."

As the group exits the back room, they notice a Roadwarden in the commons, sipping a beer. Spotting Bron Bekkle, he hastens over and nods curtly to the assembled folk before leaning over and whispering into the oldtracker's ear. Those who travelled to the Vingarius Vinyards remember him as one of the Roadwardens at that station, though he was not involved in conversation with them, having been one of those at work in the yard at the time. the man departs and Bron turns to the others and says ' Well, it seems that the tower of that Dwarvish fellow was found gutted an burned this morning.there was no sign of the poor old feller. I think it is the Monestary fer us...'

OoC: As there are currently two other adventures looking for players, with Kahuna-Burger having just advertised and Someone waiting for players, I am opting for one instead of two adventurs here. besides, I had already considered the poor old Dwarf Wizard's tower destroyed already...

To sort things out, coud everyone post a quick note as to which adventure they
are going on? Either 'Monestary', Forest of Ar' or 'Earling'. That should help out the DMs and Judges, thanks.

I'd like no more than 6 on the Monestary adventure, to keep it moving quickly, though I'm not sure about Someone or K-Bs wishes as to player limits.

As well, I will be starting a second tavern in a day or so, different city.
The Belching Orc Inn in Rivenblight.

OOC: Thale - Monastery
Sighing, Thale shakes his head. "Something must be done about these creatures. Soon, Orussus itself may be under attack."
