Technological Advancement and World Peace in DnD Campaign. How would/have you done it?

Viktyr Korimir
World peace doesn't have to lead to Stagnation. It would be a serious concern and has made me think that a truly Perfect society would need to be "Imperfect."
True world peace would be impossible given the number of demons and devils in existence, as well as evil creatures inhabiting the Prime Material. The best outcome would be a sort of "Pax Romana" occurring in the affected territories.

As D&D stands, world peace is impossible. Too much evil, too much power, like Dandu said the closest possible achievement would be a gigantic plane-wide cease fire. Even during that skirmishes are acceptable under certain circumstance.

A modified epic status spell that acts as a commune spell that answers questions by tapping into the consciousness of everyone connected to it. As a secondary effdct injury and pain you cause to others is dobe to you. All civilized states have adopted this.

Regarding World Peace.

Let all the humanoids afflicted by werebear lycanthropy. All the citizens of humanoid countries will become LG. Also, even the weakest of those civilians can fight well against evil monsters. They can eventually defeat all the evils on the Earth.

And why can't Lawful Good countries go to war with each other?

I think you're skipping steps.

It doesn't matter how many wonders you build to keep your peasants and neighboors happy if the peasants and neighboors have no idea how any of it works and constantly need you or your artificers to keep everything running for them.

The solution is education. Not only because it gives you a better labor pool, but because in a dnd world you have spells like raise dead or reincarnate. These spells give a new lease on life but only to those who can absorb the level drain or con drop.

Essentially you have to encourage your populace to take up a class besides commoner, mage wright or artificer preferrably, and then invest in a healthcare system based around the reincarnate spell (lowest level and cheapest form of actual ressurection allowed). Once that's established all the love and toleration sorts itself out on its own in response to gender and race becoming maleable.

No need to worry about death, I'm already planning on how to handle it.

There are a number of techniques which would allow eternal youth so long as they're maintained without affecting or seriously affecting species.
One, a pair of Feat which gives access to a skill capable of allowing someone to alternate between putting the aging process on hold or not at will and the other, a spell which reverses aging in short bursts per use.

Later I intend to convince a government to help me meet the requirements to create a revivification booth so I can ask the citizens to help me meet the five million exp price tag needed in it's construction. (Might take more than one government.)

After that is research into time travel so that people don't die in the first place.
They merely seem to have died because an imitation body was left behind or they appear to have exploded into ash leaving no body whatsoever that needs to be replaced.

You can probably see where such a practice would eventually expand. Either annoying a number of god/desses or gaining their appreciation for having less they need to deal with.

Hour Later
Huh. This was just shown to me.
