My current group has been playing together about 5 years. Within that group, my brother and I have been playing together since 1980 and another member of the group has been with us since 1984.

Myself, 35 year old professional poker player, my brother and another player are both 34 and are network techs at the same IT firm, another is 32 and the IT guy for a local school system, the last is 38 years old and runs an Ebay business with his father.

We play 4e.

Core group of the same 4 since 2003. We've had 7 or 8 others join at various times, but we usually scare them away after just a few sessions.

What are the ages, genders, and professions of the people in your group?
DM: 35 - Male - Ex-US Air Force Network Admin, current College Student
DM's Wife: 36 - Female - Physics teacher
Friend: 30 - Male - Computer Programmer
Friend: 32 - Male - Computer Programmer

What edition are you playing?
4E since its release. (And pretty much always the latest edition as it's been released)

I'm new to my current RL group. I have no idea how long they've been together. I've been with them for a year. I think they've been together for quite a while, though. But they only meet once a month, so they're not the most consistent gamers.

I have no idea what their ages are. So, I'll just try to guess.

All male.
Me: 35, Data architect
Robert: 25, Radio DJ
Dave 45: Military
Shannon: 30, no idea
Philip: 31, programmer
Andrew: 35, car salesman
Erik: 31, no idea. Marketing
Bryan: 32, programmer

(ah, I signed into the Yahoogroup that we keep, and it had some of their ages...)

We currently play 3.5. After that we have no idea. We're just happy to game once in a blue moon, really.

Here's my group. We've been playing D&D with regularity since our eldest members' 2nd year of college, which was 4 years ago. However, we've known each other in one way or another since high school.

Jim (me) - 23, still trying to get my degree (in Comp Sci) (Regular group member)
Andrew - 22, IT professional (regular group member)
Nick - 22, Computer Programmer & Grad student (regular group member)
Jordan - 22, going to technical school (regular group member)
Dan, 21, still in college (major is Anthropology) (away at college, so only on holidays)
Peter, 22, still in college (film major) (away at college, so only on holidays)
Eric, 21, still in college (vocal performance major) (not really a regular group member, but still occasionally joins us)
Christian, 20, still in college (math major) (very rarely joins us, since going to Yale and programming robots or whatever takes up a lot of his time)

If the names didn't give it away, we are all guys. Very rarely do we get those of the female persuasion to game with us, though occasionally a girlfriend/female friend might come.

Edition Played: We play 3.5 and 4th ed.

Some people left a few years ago, and others more recently joined the group, but the core of the group has been playing (in a rather casual manner, roughly bimonthly) for 15+ years now.

What are the ages, genders, and professions of the people in your group?

All male group, 30-35 years old, mix of professions: science & engineering related (3-4), IT (1), social worker (1) and graphical design (1)

What edition are you playing?

3.X (d20/OGL), rather loose style with a healthy dose of common sense. Following the pathfinder development with interest

You're welcome!

My core group of 5 players have been with me 9-10 years now, with a few others coming and going. Usually I have 7 players.

39, Male, Professional Carpenter
31, Female, Sales Manager
36, Male, Manager/CSR
35, Male, Sales Coordinator
35, Female, Office Manager
30, Male, "Loads UPS cargo planes"
31, Male, Subrogation Specialist
38, Female, Paralegal/Adminstrative Assistant/Bookkeeper

Currently playing D&D 3.5, with plans to switch to 4E once the current campaign is over...and once 4E feels more complete to us. (Gradually been using 4E style monsters and encounters though)

As a side note, all of us have been playing some form of D&D for over 10 years, 6 of us have been playing for over 15, and 3 of us for over 22.

18 years to 45 years old. Half the group is female, half male. Mostly College students (3-7 of them any given game session), a graduate who started a business, and 3 Grognards being thrown in. All three grognards entrepreneurs.

4th edition now. When it was 3.5e their was one Grognard (me), having them convert characters and play a random clone/older edition for a week or two until the screams got too loud.

Hope that helps The Rouse.
