I am doing little impromptu questionnaire cross posted from here and could use your help. :D

Thanks

Group 1 : About a year with me on Wednesdays. I think they played inconsistently before then for a year or two before that. I met the host on Facebook. I took a gamble after 20 years of not playing and it was very scary but the best decision I've made in a long time.

DM: 37ish, M, IT - found on Facebook.
Me: 41, M, Medical Service Engineer
42, M, City Project Manager
38, F, Mom, undergrad school
34, M, math teacher.
12, M, son of city project manager

4E.

Group 2: Since January at my house on Sunday nights.

DM: Me 41.
42, M, City Project Manager
38, F, Mom, undergrad school
34, M, math teacher.
34, M, Military IT guy - found him at Pen and Paper.
37, M, Chemical Engineer. - found him at local game shop.

4E.

Coming back to DnD has been interesting. I never really thought you could do that at 40. I had no idea what ENWorld was before about 6 months ago. I didn't know the culture was so huge.

Now I get to look forward to a game every Wednesday, and it really helps break up the week. And I'm hosting every Sunday night.

DnD people are my people. I like them all. It seems like all DnD people have the same interests that I do. It's pretty uncanny really.

Oh dear. This thread sounds like too much fun.

DM: Yours truly. 26. Been playing for 20 years (yikes!). ATM helpdesk/admin assist./student
27, F, Lab Scientist (she does something with chemicals? I dunno)
26, M, Electrician
21, M, Salesman for a households electronics company (my brother)
28ish, F, Works for the BC government (Attorney General, I think?)
32ish, M, main job is running a dance company.

That is my group. We play 4e usually once a week. Fun is generally had. We play about three hours, as well as a half hour "catch up" hang out period where we all drink tea - which is kinda weird, but also really fun and cool. I've been gaming with the first three regularly for about four years. The last two were added on about a year and a half to two years ago - they started playing with me within a few weeks of 4e's release. The groups merged a little over a year ago (maybe longer, I suck at keeping track of time).
