• NOW LIVE! Into the Woods--new character species, eerie monsters, and haunting villains to populate the woodlands of your D&D games.

Tell me the composition of your campaign groups

I'm in two campaigns, only one with an actual name.

Eberron (avg party level 16-17):

Human Cleric/Paladin/Fist of Raziel
Human Wizard
Warforged Scout Artificer
Human Psion (Nomad)/Heir of Siberys
Elf (Valenar) Ranger/Heir of Siberys/X-treme X-plorer/something else cheesy
Half-elf Rogue/Investigator/something else

We have quite a bit of firepower. The single-classed wizard is fond of Sudden Maximized Fire Brands, the Fist of Raziel rolls crits statistically improbably (lots on greatsword, rarely on falchion...), the ranger does a good cuisinart impression, and the nomad prides himself on having no energy-resistable powers (and is quite happy to move the melee people where they need to go). The investigator drives the airship and gets us to the fight, and the artificer pulls amusing scrolls out of his hat.

Birthright (Romance of the Fallen Empire) (avg party level 15)
Dwarf Fighter/Cleric/Battlesmith/Hammer of Moradin (our tank)
Dwarf Wizard/Warblade/Runesmith/Jade Phoenix Mage (our mage)
Goliath Barbarian/Fighter/Cleric/Warpriest (our "healer")

This is a more...eclectic party. We're very short on healing. On the other hand, we can rip through a lot of things pretty quickly. The goliath has been known to cleave through an entire line of guards in one swing, and the Hammer of Moradin has an absurd armor class and a pretty good ability to do damage even with a shield. Even the mage can do freaky melee damage when pressed. We have nifty blood powers...yet we still get our butts handed to us fairly often, as the DM is very good at power-gaming.

Our current campaign world is a blend of Aihrde (Erde - C&C)/Greyhawk/Yggsburgh running Dark Chateau.

The party consists of the following PCs:

Lidda - female halfling rogue lvl 3
Regdar - male human fighter lvl 3
Boone - male human paladin lvl 1
Adren - male elf druid lvl 2
Seth - male half-orc barbarian lvl 1
Jozan - male human cleric lvl 3
Mendell - male human wizard lvl 2

:D

My Forgotten Realms group I am DMing (all level 3 pure classes):
  • N Chondathan Wild Elven Shapeshift Druid of [can't remember] (Likes Panthers)
  • ?? Sembian Lightfoot Halfling Beguiler (Our soul arcasne spellcaster and sneak - although if the Rangers player would smarten up a bit :p)
  • TN Chessantan Earth Genasi Pugilist (Dr. Awkwards Brawler class, going to get into a bunch of Grapple goodness)
  • TN Chessantan Air Genasi Ranger (Using a bow and has about +8 to hit)
  • LN Dragon Coast Human Favoured Soul of Kelemvor (A dark character, he believes that some times, it is not your time to die... and sometimes it is :])
  • LG Smoking Mountains Gold Dwarf Knight (stays out of combat, trys diplomacy a lot)

This group is a bit morally ambiguous, with the Knight being the main *push* towards good, and the Air Genasi moving towards Chaotic Neutal rather than True Neutral. They are fairing well, and are evenly balanced (the Ranger in particular hits almost every time, and the Knight and Cleric are both decent - the Knight uses an Urgrosh and the Cleric a Bastard Sword with 10 Str :D) overall. I don't think we will suffer any character deaths for the time being, in any case :)

My Dark*Sun Group I am playing in (level 4 ECL):
  • TN Human Bard 1/Telepath 3 (that's me!!) Going for Thrallherd :]
  • ?? Pterran Water Cleric 4 (first time playing a spellcaster... we will have to see how this PC fairs...)
  • ?? Thri-Kreen Scout or Ranger 1 (undediced)
  • ?? Human Gladiator 4 (18 Cha on this bad boy!!)
  • CN Half-Giant Barbarian 1 (21 Str... BEFORE rage  )

We rolled up characters the Saturday before last and are (hopefully) having our first session this weekend. I am playing a character who is all about dominating foes and control, but not megolamanical. I am also into controlling the battlefield whenever possible.

The Eberron game I'm running:
  • LG male human Cloistered Cleric 9(from Unearthed Arcana)/Church Inquisitor 1
  • LG female human Paladin 10
  • CG male elf Wizard 9/Loremaster 1
  • NG male orc Druid 6/Gatekeeper Mystagogue 4

The Castles & Crusades game I'm running (set in Greyhawk):
  • NG male human Ranger 3
  • NG male gnome Wizard 1/Rogue 2
  • LG male dwarf Cleric 3 of Clangeddin Silverbeard/Fighter 3

We're getting ready to finish Eberron and start the Age of Worms adventure path. I'll be running it in the Forgotten Realms. My guys rolled characters and here's what we've got so far:
  • NG male Lurien strongheart halfling Wizard 1
  • NG male High Forest wood elf Ranger 1
  • NG female Rashemi human Druid 1 (going for the Hathran PrC)
  • CG male Evermeet moon elf Cleric 1 (Corellon Larethian)
