Tell me what LCD monitor to buy

Currently have a venerable, dependable 18" Optiquest v95. I want to spend money I don't have on a new monitor I don't need because LCD's are just cool and I want something with go-faster stripes.

So, what LCD do I start looking for and why?

Well the Apple cinema displays are widely regarded as some of the best LCD displays out there. You would want the newer anodized aluminum models since they have the standard dvi connection. The 20" model runs around $1,300.
