The 4400

Do many of you watch this? What do you think of it? I missed sunday's episode but caught it last night, like always I thought it was a good one and left me wondering what's next.

I liked what I've seen, but I'm wondering if the show hasn't shot it's wad already.

The first "season" (really a mini series) was good because it had a story arc. But now the series is very episodic. I'm seeing a lot of story arc shows turn into something like this:

Season One: magnficient story arc
Seaons Two through Next-To-Last: mostly self-contained eposiodes with a little red meat tossed to the fans
Season Last: conclusion of story arc

So, I'm basically wondering if the 4400 isn't going to be in a holding pattern until they get cancelled.

I think with 4400 people they are going to talk about as many of them as they can. They need instead to do a Lost and focus on only a few. I know they do this but it jumps around from one to the other so often. I'd rather they spend an episode on one then the other. They are also pulling a 4400 of the week by introducing a new one each week.

I love this show.
It actually reminds me, in some respects, of "Rising Stars" the JMS comic book series.

I have feeling they'll begin paring the cast down relatively soon...

I'm really interested in the show. I'd heard a lot about it, but never watched it, until I downloaded all the episodes (season one, and season two episodes one thru three). From that, USA has found itself a new viewer, once I find out what time the show airs.

I like both elements shown so far, the episodic, and the story-arc. I think they should emphasize the arc a little more heavily, but it's not too bad. I'm hoping that it doesn't borrow too much from LOST, and actually gives us some more answers soon. LOST I can handle, but I don't think I'd enjoy watching two shows that both hold back too much.

Overall, a very enjoyable series.

I've kind of fallen out with this series. There are some good actors and the main plot is interesting, but it moves glacially slow.

I'm bored of the 4400 wacky power of the week that always "shockingly" turns out to not be what it seems. I'll watch it if I catch it, but it's getting painful.

I've fallen in love with the series. I can't get enough of it. It pains me t wait a week to see the next installment of it. I really like the character depth and its got my creative geras churning. I might be willing to GM a 4400 game.

A d20 modern 4400 would be kind of interesting if done right. I must say that I personally love the show too, and I hate the one week wait between episodes.

The only thing that I am really dying to learn is what Jordan Collier is up to, and the deal with the baby.
