D&D 4E The 4e rogue: Good power names!!

Legend
What all of the past talk about some of the terrible names we have seen from powers, I had to breathe a sigh of relief when I saw the rogue powers list. Obviously its only a tiny fraction of what will be there, but so far I'm pleased.

Deft Strike, Crimson Blade....nice quick evocative names that don't carry too much innate flavor.

Hopefully the other powers will be like this.

I don't know. I was kind of hoping for Purple Monkey Assault and Chartreuse Daisy Maneuver.
Pls stop Assaulting your Purple Monkey, or I will perform a Chartreuse Daisy Maneuver kthxb.

I wasn't too worried over the names and am even less so seeing the samples they've released with the Rogue preview. I expect that the crazy off-the-wall names were there just because they were evocative and easy for the developers to remember the ability as they were designing things. Once things start getting polished the designer place-holder names were bound to get changed into something more appropriate to the game.

Well, I suppose that if you do not like the "generic" flavor of the abilities, you could always create your own more colorful ones. I know, I know...it seems crazy, but it's true. You totally can.

Which is why I'm going to change the name of "Deft Strike" to "Alabaster Orchid Embraces the Delicate White Moth."

Goddammit, I've already posted in this thread.
