The Advancing Hoard - 3.5 D&D Adventure (Full)

I've just created the second OoC thread called THe Advancing Hoard: Game 2 - 3.5 D&D Adventure (Full). I'd give the URL, but most of you do not seem to like my URLs since they use enworld.cyberstreet.com addresses as I do not have access to enworld any other way (.net is blocked by my infernal firewall).

I'll catch up now on the post since the last update I made.

Thanks!

BACKGROUND

Ule son of Ragnar of the Clan Silvermoore is a dwarf from the underground mountain city of Ostohar who enjoys a good fight in a good cause. Ule is a bit of a linguist, picking up languages from everyone he meets. He has traveled throughout the underground kingdom of his people and picked up a thing or two along the way from the dwarves and their trading partners the svirfneblin. He is now traveling to where he heard there was work where he could earn gold with his waraxe, either gaining bounties on goblin worg riders or perhaps as a merchant guard. Ule also hopes to learn some new languages when he gets the chance.

EQUIPMENT

Outfit (worn) -wt -gp
Breatplate (worn) 30wt 200gp
Dagger (belt, left) 1wt 2gp
Pouch (belt, right) .5wt 1gp

Backpack (back) 2wt 2gp
Bedroll (backpack) 5wt 1sp
Trail rations x4 (backpack) 4wt 2gp
Dwarven Waraxe (back) 8wt 30gp

2gp 9sp (pouch) .22wt

Lawful Good Dwarf fighter seems like a good start for the group. Lets see if I can see anything that I disagree with... (sorry for the change format, I find it easier to look at, e.i. I'm used to it: plus, going through the character in this detail allows me to become more familiar with it)

Everything looked great except for the languages... and I bought a pouch for him to carry his coins in (unless you wanted him to go through his backpack each time to buy something). With the languages, Speak language is still a cross-class skill for a fighter, so it still takes 2 skill points for a single language (note that the bard still has it under his class skills though you do not buy ranks in the skill).

Komodo... where is the wilder and the elocator so I can look at them (I've noted that they are not in the core rules, but do not recognize them from the supplements that I had listed as being included in this campaigne).

Thanks!

No problem, I'll drop giant and terran. I picture him as having lived in an underground mountain, so gnome for svirfneblin and undercommon are good, and he was more likely to learn the languages of creatures that would fit in tunnels over giants and elementals.

BACKGROUND

Stimo Rekk, faithfull servant of Pelor. A young naive man, always puting the well-being of others before his own. Clad in white and yellow, there is no doubt who he serves. Stimo is also quite fond of battles, and what he loves most, after Pelor, is to cleanse the world of all the "sickness", as he calls it. Giants, Undead, Goblins, Orcs and all the rest of the "badies" better watch out, cause here is Stimo, and his mace is heavy and his prayers are even more so.

Okay, only a couple of things (which should be quick):

1) Where is the True Believer feat so that I can look at it?
2) I changed your reflex save to reflect your 12 dex (you had a +2 for dex there)
and 3) where are you placing all of your many darts?

That's it! Other then that, it looks great!

Okay, we have our Cleric and Fighter so far!

1: True believer is from Complete Divine.
Prerequisites: Must choose a single deity to worship. Must be within one step of that gods alignment.
Benefit: Once per day when you are about to make a saving throw you may declare that you are using this feat to gain a +2 insight bonus on that saving throw. This feat also allows you to use a relic of the deity you worship.

2: Thanx, I missed that.

3: I am not sure, something like a quiver or something i guess.

Unfortunately I do not have access through my (infernal) firewall to that site, and the SRD that I'm using (referenced in the first post) does not have the psionics section done yet, so I'm going to have to insist on the 3.5 psionics handbook... that is unless you can point me to an alternate SRD that I can try to access. Other then that, I'm afraid, without a complete cut and copy from you folks on those classes and a complete detailed explination as to the differences from 3.5 from 3.0, I'm going to have to rely on the rules that I know.

Sorry!

Okay... time for the rather ugly task of determining how long we wish to wait for our newbie to make a post.

If that amount of time has gone by and he has not shown himself again, then I've desided to leave this game with just the three players listed rather then drag one of the other players from the other thread back to this one.

Well, how long? I was thinking that if he did not make a post by the time all of the characters had been finalized, then we'll just start without him... what do you think?

Rayex, the feat sounds fine! I'll allow it even though it was not in the books that I had mentioned in post one.

As to the darts... okay, one shoulder quiver or a small quiver on the rear of your belt it will be.

Sorry for being so precise as to locations, but I like to picture the character... and I had a picture of a porcupine when thinking about him. You corrected that, thanks!
