Order of Choices:
Bill: Amy
Kwame: Troy
Bill: Katrina:
Kwame: Omarosa
Bill: Nick
Kwame: Heidi
In other words, when Kwame chose Omarosa Nick was not taken, but Katrina was. Kwame admitted he would have taken Katrina over Omarosa had Nick not taken her. He then said he felt like Omarosa would work better for him if he had chosen her.
My basic point is, Kwame didn't really get hurt by anyone but himself. He didn't pick first, but when he did pick, he didn't pick well. Picking Troy was a no-brainer for him, the two had a great working relationship. However with his second pick he had Nick, Omarosa and Heidi to choose from and picked (in my opinion) the worst of the three remaining candidates.
Then he didn't do a whole lot with the talent he had.
He had Troy working with Heidi, Omarosa by herself, and he was managing. That's a horrible choice. I would never leave Omarosa alone. If he wasn't willing to put Troy with Omarosa *he* should have taken the responsibility of managing her.
I liked Kwame and thought he deserved to come in second. However Bill smoked him in the final round.
Bill's employees complained he micromanaged them, to which he responded, "I wasn't going to leave my fate in their hands."
For that alone he deserved to win. It's nice to manage from an office and let your employees do their thing when you have good employees. When I was a retail manager I had that luxury a time or two.
But when you have subpar employees then the manager has to get in there and work, often taking the worst employees under his direct supervision. Why? Because management will ultimate take the heat if the job isn't done. Kwame wasn't willing to do that, so he deserved to lose.
