The Crux of the Matter

(ooc: beyond fireball, I have no more offensive spells prepd. so...)

Hogarth try to move to help Vanitri who is slowed and if possible, try to fin a bracket. He swings against his mace with the same softness and precision.

[SBLOCK=OOC]Attack: 18, but add +2 if he could bracket. Damage: 5[/SBLOCK]

(OOC: This is almost important--why is it only -1 and not -2 to hit? The level in Human Paragon didn't increase his BAB on me, did it?)

*Ashnar's attack is not terribly aimed, but a combination of the undead's infernal quickening of time around themselves and his allies darting in and out of melee causes the attack to go astray.*

*Meanwhile, Hogarth bashes some more undead hide, and Vanitri hits as well, slashing into its chest.*

(OOC: Total damage to it is 22

Rinaldo's turn, then)

(The bless spell - it should still be up, right? I forgot it in my previous scorching ray, not that it would have made much of a difference :heh: )

(OOC: Ah yes, the Bless spell. I wasn't giving that to Vanitri when I rolled for, though he never missed by 1 anyway, and Velmont rolled for Rinaldo and Hogarth, so I forgot it. Ashnar still misses, but he would have hit without the Haste AC)

Rinaldo continue his defensive style but that time, seems to have given a solid hit to teh undead in front of him.

[SBLOCK=OOC]Attack:18 Should be +2, as the bracket bonus have carried to that roll... Damage: 6[/SBLOCK]
