So she is indeed Elpis, Ashnar thinks once he has been appraised of what is known of the situation.

"Not me, I'm afraid." Ashnar says, trying to remember if they came across anything that may contain diamonds.

"You won't find any more down here. Eve has the minor amount of it from the mini-lab, and the rest is sealed upstairs."

"Yes, and no one on our side who yet exists can manage Polymorph Any Object..."

"Agreed. Those are the only long-term solutions. Do you want a Polymorph for your elf? Regrettably, it lasts only a few minutes. Find diamond dust and we could stoneskin for several hours."

Upon hearing about diamond dust...
"I'll go fetch some, if you say it's in the lab," Vanitri says.

Vanitri will carefully go back out and head to the lab to get some Diamond Dust.

ooc: Tenebrynn was very very reluctant to go into the library because his survival depended on concentrating. Without an indication that his salvation was at hand he would not have headed in. He would have then taken extreme care not to touch any motes because of the loss of consciousness he had witnessed.
