Beamer retreats further back, his crossbow bolt missing as the thief dodges just in time. Azaroth's acid splash (attack roll 18, 3 damage) severly burns thief 3's flesh, but does not slow him down.

While the thieves assaulting Azaroth and Beamer both miss by a wide margin, the thieves ganging up on Gur are very successful in letting him bleed (5 damage from 3, 5+6 damage from 1).
Adrenaline pumps through Gur's body after these painful hits, and a sweeping strike knocks out thief 1 (attack roll 18, 6 damage). Banion is quite pleased as his sling stone hits thief 5 in the head, instantly causing him to drop into the dirt (attack roll 23, 5 damage).
Just an instant later, a door is unlocked and the Ashen Talon observer comes out onto the street, looking around twice, seemingly a bit surprised at the change of events.

Beamer: 20 <1/4>
Azaroth:15 <8/8>
Thieves
Gur: 10 <11/29>
Banion:5 (off-map, U7)
Ashen Talon Observer

Ongoing effects:
Ray of Enfeeblement on 4 <1 Str>: 7 rounds
Ray of Enfeeblement on 5 <2 Str>: 8 rounds
Mage Armor on Azaroth and Beamer

Banion moves in, carefull to stay out of reach of the Ashen Talon Observer. Hoping that she, like Fourdrinker, will chose not to participate in the combat, he targets another rogue. (Will lose PBS bonus of +1/+1 if not within 30' of target.)

OOC: Oops forgot to do the ranged touch attack. My bad.
Thanks Knight.

On his turn Azaroth will cast another Acid Splash at Thief 3 again. 1d20+1= 8

Spells used so far (including this turn):
2 magic missle
1 mage armor
2 Acid Splash

Spells Remaining:
Level 0: 3
Level 1: 1

Beamer moves diagonally to U9. He levels his crossbow at the Ashen Talon observer and says, "Hands up, drop your weapon (if armed) and don't move." Readied action to shoot the Observer if she moves toward Beamer or takes another hostile action (spell, draws weapon, etc). If she flees down the alley, Beamer will not shoot.

OOC: I think Beamer has his crossbow loaded at the beginning of this round.

Azaroth throws another orb of acid, but misses. The glob lands on the street and fizzes silently. Thief 2 finds another opening in Azaroth's defenses, causing an ugly cut (6 damage). Meanwhile, Gur rams his quarterstaff into Thief 3's stomach, finally dropping the resistant thug (attack roll 19, damage 5), and moves up to thief 2.
Banion misses thief 2 by a hair.
"Cute," the Ashen Talon observer laughs, "but impressive. We will a strike team. As a humming sound builds up, Beamer shots, hitting the agent in the shoulder (attack roll 19, 3 damage), but the observer immediately removes the bolt from the - non-bleeding! - wound. Nonetheless, the humming has stopped, and the observer rushes into the same direction as Fourdrinker.

Azaroth:15 <2/8>
Thieves
Gur: 10 <11/29>
Banion:5 (off-map, U7)
Beamer: 20 <1/4> (off-map, U9)
Ashen Talon Observer

Ongoing effects:
Ray of Enfeeblement on 4 <1 Str>: 6 rounds
Ray of Enfeeblement on 5 <2 Str>: 7 rounds
Mage Armor on Azaroth and Beamer

Banion is of the opinion that tomorrow will need to take care of itself. Ignoring the fleeing opponents, he closes to within 30' of the remaining combatant and lets fly with another stone.

Beamer moves to S6 and readies an action to cast Acid Orb at the Ashen Talon Observer. If she stops running, he will cast the spell to speed her on her way (Touch attack +6, Damage 1d3+1). He also tries to get a better look at her as she flees (Spot +1).

OOC: Is there a typo in "We will a strike team"? If not, that's cool, but I'm confused.
