The Dance of Souls

IC: Beamer whispers to Azaroth and Gur, "Well, what do we do now. Do you see any way to get up?"

OOC: Editted since we did not make it out of the city yet.

Banion tries to avoid backing out of the course of action requested of him. Shere nerves aren't a good enough reason to turn back. Is there any way to observe whether Tennar is present without going inside?

(OK, sorry. Changed to city wall, which seems the most likely destination at this point.)

Banion cannot see any indication whether the warehouse is inhabited or not.

Banion will spend 15 minutes observing the area, trying to find any stealthed enemies, and halfway hoping Tennar will chance to exit in the hopes of talking to him at some less obvious location. If nothing new is learned, he will attempt to enter the warehous looking for Tennar. At any sign of entry having been forced or violence on the premises, Banion is prepared to flee. He has a wild fantasy of being framed for murder if the thieves guild found itself in dislike for Tennar.

Banion, seeing no one in the area, slowly moves up to the door, pulls the handle...

... and finds the door locked. However, he must have made some, as a voice, muffled by the door, is heard "Who's there?"

Knight Otu said:
... and finds the door locked.

While not surprised, Banion winces as the simple precaution frustrates him.

Does the voice sound like Tennar? Also, searching his memory, does red headed Tennar bear a familly relationship to the red headed bar maid?

OOC: Knight when you get the chance could you give a size estimate to the wall. I'm sure that it would be large enough to cover the entire city. But perhaps through buildings or rooftops, would we be able to climb over?

Depending on the answer Azaroth will make a suggestion. Also perhaps Gur might have an idea about how to escape.

Banion:
The voice does not sound like Tennar, but might be one of his guards. Searching your memory, you're certain that the red hair is the only similarity between Tennar and the barmaid.

Beamer, Azaroth and Gur:
The wall is 15 feet high. The surrounding buildings are usually 8 to 9 feet high, and don't touch the wall in the immediate area - there is a 3 to 5 wide gap between the house walls and the city wall. "You wouldn't happen to have some rope?" Gur asks.
