The Dance of Souls

*Azaroth awakens, his head is swirling, the images of his dream are still fresh in his mind*
* his first instinct is to Grab his sword, no time to think, only to defend himself*

Beamer! Trying.... to kill me..... I've got to stop him!.....If I don't he'll......kill us all..
*he stands up though still dizzy*
YOU! *he points at beamer with a ferocious intensity in his eyes*
I'll get you first!

*with Banion's words his brain catches up to him, he sticks his sword in the ground and sits down. Breathing heavily, he lets out a sigh*

It was just so real! The pain was tremendous! I fear had you not stopped me I would've done something I deeply regretted.

Banion seems troubled.

"I don't know how to fight against this sort of attack. Perhaps we should not aproach the keep. We could back off towards the road, setting up an ambush and wait for our enemies to come to the keep. They may have some ward or other device to protect them from the maddening dreams."

"Hmm. Well, we are certain now that the stories are true. The Talon is not just using the legends to keep people away. Even if we did get to the Keep, we would still have the problem of trying to infiltrate it. It may be easier to ambush a cart on these narrow mountain passes than to get into the Keep anyway. I like that idea, Banion."

I think its a good idea however, there is a problem we don't know how long it'll take for another group of them to show up. It might involve us spending another night around the keep, I fear for our safety if more night terrors occur.

"How long should we wait? Three days? Gur, can you provide us with enough food so that we don't have to break into our rations? This land looks rather barren, but you are quite the resourceful chap."
