Going to be gone for the coming Azaroth wil continue to hit his mage target with magic missles until one of two things happen. a) the mage drops in which case he will switch to the target that leaped up with melee. or b) the jumper gets too close. in which case he'll engage in melee.

(One thing's for sure - it'll be a long time until I consider DMing two games at the same time again)

Azaroth tosses a magic missile at 2, dealing 5 damage in the process. 6 grunts in weakness as the ray of enfeeblement hits him, and in pain as the mindblade hits him (5 damage again - you'd almost think we're playing the skirmish game :p).

Gur's first arrow misses (attack roll 7), but the second one hits (9 damage total on 6). The guy no longer looks too healthy, but seems determined to press on. He jumps again, but fails to make significant progress. "Get 'em, Cado!" he grunts as he catches himself. 1, apparently the one who was addressed, nods, and jumps as well, finally reaching the path.
4 glances as the driver, finding her wounds have stopped bleeding, and her still breathing, then jumps off the wagon to the other woman, and with a few mumblings, her wounds begin to close, but she appears to be still unconcious.
The wizard (2) seems to have decided that Gur is too dangerous to have him remain standing, and casts another spell (Azaroth recognizes the same spell as he suffered from). It doesn't appear to have the intended concequeces, as Gur remains where he is, though he shakes a bit.

Azaroth shoots another magic missile at 2, dealing 4 damage.

Beamer reloads and fires his crossbow at the cleric (4), quietly saying to himself, "Now, now, no healing the injured." As the bolt leaves his crossbow, he knows it flies true, but he can only hope the shimmering force fields does not drive it off course.

OOC: Bolts fired 2. crossbow shot (1d20+7=22, 1d6+1=5)

The crossbow bolt, apparently unhindered by the field, hits the priest in the shoulder. Banion's mindblade also hits its mark, and the man loses both his grip and his conciousness, and rolls down the slope. From the way he looks, it appears unlikely he'll do anything ever again.
Gur, noting the danger from 'Cado,' steps aside and fires his bow at the approaching woman, but his shaking hands prevent a hit.

2 points at Beamer, and a quite familiar energy energy hits him, and he feels his strength sapped away (-3 penalty to Str; Ray of Enfeeblement).
4 searches the body of the woman, finds a potion, and downs it.
Cado rushes and she tries to bring her quarterstaff to bear on Banion's skull, and successfully so. The power of the blow is great, but the halfling does what halflings do - endure (9 damage).

Azaroth fires another magic missile at 2 (4 damage), and finally the mage collapses under the continuous barrage of force.

Beamer cries out as he is struck by the ray. For a moment, Beamer is back in the throws of his childhood fever. Shaking his head, Beamer struggles to his feet, his already emaciated body weakened still further from the spell. He says breathily, "Banion, step back and I will weaken her."
OOC: Beamer is now at 3 strength and medium load (Speed 15, Max Dex +3, AC 18, Check penalty -3). Stands and readies an action to take 5 foot step to L9 when Banion either moves out of melee or attacks.
Spells remaining 0th: 6, 1st: 2
ray of enfeeblement (1d20+7=18, 1d6+1=7). If Banion stays in melee, Beamer takes a -4 penalty so attack roll is 14. Likely to be a hit either way since Cado is in banded mail. And, yeah for a good penalty roll. :)

Seeing stars and grunting in pain, Banion goes on the defensive. (Standard action, normal AC of 18+6=24 due to 5 ranks in tumble.) Banion takes a 5' step away from his assailant (from L11 to L10 if possible, I'm not 100% clear on the slope.) He manifests his mindblade (move action), ready to be engaged in melee.

New Init:
Azaroth - 15
Beamer - 12
Banion - 12
Gur - 9
The Other Guys

(I took the liberty to have Banion take his step to M10, so that Beamer has undisturbed sight at 1. I realize now that the gray makes it a bit hard to see, but the slope begins at K10)
Banion steps aside, an a defensive position, and Beamer's ray hits - and hits hard. With an "Ugh", the woman nearly drops under the sudden weight of her equipment. "Mali, you fool, powered the bugger up, or what?" she mutters, looking at the halfling.
Gur steps aside as well, again aiming at the weakened Cado. While his first shot doesn't hit, his second one hits much better, as the arrow strikes right through her chest (crit, 11 damage).
"You will pay for this!" she shouts, and moves up to Banion. Seeing the halfling defends himself, she lays all her power into her attack, but finds the halfling too nimble to hit again.
4, meanwhile, repeats ghis healing prayer, but on himself, takes off his shoes, and starts up the slope, with ease, soon standing next to Banion.

Azaroth, having no more 1st-level spells (as far as I see), targets an acid splash at the priest, dealing 2 damage.
