The Dance of Souls

Beamer & Co:
The sounds of glass shattering, and a muffled yell can be heard, and one of the guards rushes towards the sound, calling to the other "Quick, sounds like a break-in!" The other guard shouts after him "Wait, there are no gla..." He sighs, mutters something about always being paired with the idiots, and rushes after the first one. The path appears to be free.

Banion:
It takes you more than a minute, with frequent drops after the first 5 feet, but finally you scale the 15 feet high wall. The jump down, and outside the city is much less problematic, and you manage it without taking any damage. Quickly, you hustle towards the rendevouz point.

Azaroth will move as quickly as possible towards the stairs.

Attempting to be quiet so as to not alert the guards.

Upon passing over the steps Azaroth will pat Beamer on the back.

OOC: Note: it's stairs, not a gate. The group still has to climb down the otherside, or for Beamer most likely do his best Humpty Dumpty impersonation.

IC: Beamer moves quickly to the stairs, trying to keep up with Azaroth. If there is a short wall or something at the top of the stairs, Beamer ducks behind it and moves as quietly as possible 40 feet back to the south. He will then attempt to climb down. If there is no cover to move behind, Beamer begins climbing down immediately. (Let me know if you want me to roll dice for the climb on invisible castle.)

The group quickly reaches the stairs, climbs up and, barring convenient hiding places, begins its descent.

Gur slips very unluckily, falling the 15 feet and taking 3 damage.
Azaroth ?jumps down?climbs down?
Beamer climbs down, but also slips soon, taking 1 damage.

OC: I will attempt to climb down upon reaching the ground I will attempt to get behind the nearest tree as to remain hidden.

Beamer has the wind knocked out of him by his fall. He feels a little sore, but not too much worse for wear. "Let's go" he whispers quietly and runs to get to the nearest cover. If there is no cover, he just runs straight away from the wall. Once out of sight of the wall, Beamer's shoulders slump as he gulp huge (for a halfling) amounts of air. "It's been a long day." He makes sure everyone is ok and then heads off to meet Banion.

Banion will sneak to the rendezvous point, taking his time and trying to be alert to those around him. If possible, he will travel on rocky ground and/or through streams to obscure his trail.

Azaroth also fails to properly climb down, taking 2 damage in the process. The group makes haste to get to the rendevouz point, and reaches it with no problem. About half an hour later, Banion sneaks into view, the group being finally reunited.
