Anybody watch this? I thought it was well done and informative.

I was looking at a local radio station's webiste (they have contests for a lot of things), and for "The Dark Ages" quiz one of the prizes was for a D&D game set. http://www.q1043.com/main.html

Missed it but I'm watching Barbarians II on this week. Got to see half of the "Vandals" on Monday and all of the "Saxons" last night.

Those Saxons were real SOBs. Watching it made me think it would make sense to create a setting where non-humans were "civilized" and humans acted like the Saxons, killing, taking and double-crossing everyone they come in contact with. And don't forget the human sacrifices! First time I have heard of a "blood-angel."

I liked it. Some places I've been to have remarked it's not completely accurate, but it kept my attention. I'd rather have an entertaining 2 hours with a few errors that makes me want to learn more, then a boring 2 hours that's completely accurate and I turn off in 10 minutes. ;)

I loved it and plan on ordering a DVD of it.

It was an inspiration for writing for my world.

And the actress who played Rosamund inspired some late night character writing.
