Tasha Velmont : Cat Burglar

As Angus spots them and addresses them, Tasha opens her mouth to say something. Then she pauses, glances down at the package, and finally turns to Dobber for his input.

Dobber turns and looks at Tasha, "See, I told you it was hte case. The club has started admitting commoners. If working men are allowed among teh ranks, I'm sure ti won't be long before you too can join Dear."

Dobber looks back towards Angus, " I heard rumor that you might be here. Don't you have something better you could be doing? Protecting the public perhaps? Solving a murder? Now, where can I find Professor Galvin?"

Angus looks at him, with distaste clearly written upon his face. "You will mind your manners around here, matey, and none of that lip. I'm still looking for someone to blame for those Riddley hold-ups, and if you don't show some respect I might just arrest you for 'em. A day or two in jail will have you singing a different tune. No way on earth I'll let some one like prof Galvan get caught up in one of your get-rich-quick schemes. And if you try to sell him something I'll advise him not to buy it unless you can prove it wasn't stolen. I know your kind, Dobber, and they don't smell of roses."

Dr. Marley walks about the room trying to figure out what it is happening. He picks up pits and pieces of the differing conversations. Being new to the country he lets things continue as is but the event stricks him as very strange.

Dr Schiff extracts his hand from the other's grip, managing not to wince.

"Ah, yes, better opportunities, in a way, perhaps...." His demeanor and tone of voice indicates that he'd rather continue this discussion another time.

"Perhaps later, then. In a more private environment?" the Count offers.

Without waiting for answer (and not expecting one) he turns back to Professor Galvan.

"So we heard that you are quite a blackguard, Professor," he addresses Galvan, underlining the irony of his statement with a grin and an exaggerated wink. "Tell us this tale, as I'm sure most of us have heard enough academic talk to last for some time."

"I am offended that you would even think to make such an accusation. Must you really go to such great lengths to besmirch my honor? I suppose by talking to me like this and making such accusations makes you feel like a bigger man. Your ego must be rather bruised to be around such men of great importance, knowing your true station in life. I in no way intend to catch the professor in some scheme as you call it. I have a package for the Professor that I was personally asked to deliver. Now, if you will kindly excuse me, I wish to fulfill my charge." with that, Dobber nods his head to the inspector, offers Tasha his arm, and walks by Angus into the crowd, dipping his shoulder slightly to avoid being stopped. He's attempting to listen to conversations in the room to see if he can spot the professor.

"Why you little..." He turns around, heading to the bar."Andrews, Edgar" Angus calls out to two of the more burly bartenders. "Do you see that little weasel and that woman? I don't know how he got in here, but he sure doesn't belong here. Be a good chap and get him out without a fuss, will you." He then goes to prof Galvan, having a chat and making sure the club isn't disgraced by the likes of Dobber.

Dr. Marley watches the transaction and watches as Dobber and Tasha walk out. He approaches Angus with a question, "Why do you think they came to the club?" Michael Marley can not see the reason for the comotion.

"I have no idea why he's here, but I know he's a con man and a thief, and I want him out of here as soon as possible, with a minimum of fuss"

"I am professor Galvan." says a distinguished gentleman is a grey suit. "You have a package for me?" He turns to Angus and the two burly bartenders. "It's quite alright gentlemen. Let's see what he has? I think I can stand alittle more excitement. I am not a old man yet." he says with a smile.
