[The End of the World of Darkness] What's White Wolf got up its sleeve?

Planescape D20 would be awesome, but I doubt it. They would not throw such a big fuss about it, since a lot of their gothy hardcore fans don't like the D20 system. "Their hate of d02 know no limit", so to speak.

It is more likely some kind of during & after Gehenna/Apocalypse/etc book.

I don't know, I've heard a lot of WW fans say: "I hate D&D, but that Planescape stuff looks cool."

They've been aquired by Hasro.

Coming out in August - My Little Pony: The Prancing. :D

On a serious note Dark Sun d20 would be cool.

Yeah, as said above: urban myth on the GURPS thing. I've played both versions, and even as someone who quite enjoys a nice round of GURPSing with my afternoon tea - the GURPS V:tM books? Garbage. Did not translate over well at all. The people who wanted to play V:tM bought V:tM books, not the GURPSquivalent. They were pulled because they didn't sell; not because they were selling too much.

Source?

Because everything I heard said that they were pulled after what amounted to a battle over creative control and how the adaptations were being performed.

Anyway, while I didn't care for the adaptations of Vampire or Werewolf, the Mage adaptation was IMO far superior to the original game - it kept the essential 'good bits' of the magic system but dropped the rest of the Storyteller clunkiness down a deep hole (and good riddance)

Vampire: Gehenna.

Yeah.
I haven't touched WoD games in five years because I got tired of the drama-queen angstiness its players seem to develop (at least in my neck of the woods, no offense intended), but I would so pick this up and run it. I'd run the hell out of it, in fact.

I just don't know. It might be a Gehenna suppliment.

The vampire line is running pretty stale of late. I get the impression that they are running out of good ideas.

I don't think it is Dark Sun bacause the DS conversion website team says that Wizards still owns the license. They would probably know otherwise and would simply say "We can't comment."

Planescape seems the most likely, assuming of course they are indeed ressurecting an old setting. I'm not sure a d20 setting would get this much attention at WW though.

I'm betting it is something altogether new.

Since it's a white wolf announcement, I wouldn't expect it to be a d20 product. Probably some new WoD thing, I guess.
