The Faerie Woods [Knight Otu Judging]

Gorefoot stares at the man with the eyes of a predator.

OOC: Attempting to intimidate (Persephone and Ishmael want answers, and he'd better give them :D).

Intimidate +1

Ok, so he stares at him with the eyes of a small predator :p

"Inns closed." he repeats. "Private business. The sun's still high in the sky, you should be able to make the next one before dark, anyway."

Persephone smiles politely at this, but makes no effort to move on. She brings Fridly up close to her mouth and coos at him softly, asking him to fly around the building, and come back and let her know if any other people were about, and if any were acting scared or angry.

Pushing Fridly off into the air, Percy then turns to Ismael, and speaks to him softly. "Sir Ismael, sometimes you are able to see into the hearts of men. Tell me, do you have reason to distrust this man?"

Ishmael let the aversion get the best of him, inciting a spark of ire in the halfling's heart. Despite his emotional state, he tried to maintain a modicum of concentration. Following Percy's advice, Ishmael let Gorefoot take the fore.

He then focused intently on the man's aura.

"Let us see if evil taint's thy heart, cretin"

oog: detect evil

Nars glances at Ishmael out of the corner of his eye. He figures those mumblings are a language of some sort, but not one he speaks. Hopefully someone else will know what he's talking about.

Ishmael blinked, then realized that he had unconsciously slipped into THAT language again.

"Evil taints this place. This man is not exempt from its influence as well" He whispered to the other members of the party.

As the party talks among themselves, the taciturn man starts backing away, towards the door of the inn. He's still looking at you suspiciously.

Gorefoot, having not taken his eyes off the man, says in a quiet voice, "Where are you going?"
