OoC: Rodimus moves to H-28, ready action partial charge the redcap if it moves within distance (30ft. Darn, I want that level up). Attack bonus +6 for touch attack to initiate a grapple after a charge, grapple bonus +8 (damage d6+3).

IC: Rodimus moves forward, glaring at the little, red annoyince. He readies to jump and grap it, should it come close enough to him.

Nars attempts to weave his way through the rubble, trying to get within range to strike precisely. (From C27 to D19 = move of 40 feet. Balance DC of moving through the rubble = 13, set in comparison to uneven flagstone being DC 10. Penalty for moving at more than half speed for -5 on check. 1d20-2=12 ) He makes no progress through the rubble, remaining in C27 as he tries to get his footing.

Gorefoot has more success moving across the rubble, maneuvering from E30 to G29 (D20+1=15) and maneuvering defensively.

Rodimus begins to move forward, but takes a misstep amidst the rocks and falls prone. (d20-3=6, failure by 5 or more)

Persephone move toward the redcap, spell at the ready. (F26 would be out of line of sight of the recap due to the wall, so I will interpret "about f26" to actually be f27.1d20+2=18 ) She blasts the Redcap for 2d4+2=5.

Ishmael also has trouble negotiating the rocks and falls prone. (He may cast if he wishes from prone, Nimisgod may clarify in next post.)

Editted: OOC: I was reading over balance. Moving at normal speed means that Nars has to (and gets to) make two balance checks, one for each move action, but each is at a -5 penalty, so he should get another chance to move 20 feet west. I went ahead and rolled.

IC: Nars slows down and takes his time. He says quietly, "I'm moving near Percy." Nars moves carefully to F26.

OOC: Since the Recap goes first in round 2, perhaps you should go ahead & post its action, which might help define ours. In general, if the redcap does not close and attack her, Percy will continue to fire her magic missiles. If he does close, well, she'd try to get away. I'll have to repost if this is the case, depending on who's around and such.

Percy's spells/day: lvl0: 6 - has cast none; lvl 1: 7 - has cast mage armor (x2)& magic missile; lvl 2: 4 - has cast invisibility

Yes, I intended to post the redcaps action ASAP. My wife had car troubles and I had to go give her my car, causing a delay.

Slag, my interpretation is also that you make one roll for the first move action and another for the second. However, since the consequence of a failed roll is that, at minimum, you may take no further movement in the round, I also ruled that a second roll was not necessary unless the first roll was succesfull.

The rubble extends for 30 to 60 feet beyond the walls of the keep. A very small area around the lean-to has been cleared of rubble by the redcap, but otherwise the poor terrain covers the battlefield.

Round 2 Begins
The Redcap advances, carefully moving 30' to get closer to Persephone. It moves to G19, apparently with little trouble.

Nars takes his time, arriving safely at his intended destination (f26.) (He makes his second balance check as well.)

Gorefoot is next. Rodimus, even with the rubble, standing is still a move action -- you've listed a move and free action, do you want to do anything additional? Persephone, the Redcap isn't upon you yet, but perhaps you could clarify.

Not realizing how perilous the rocky terrain was, Gorefoot continues to weave his cold iron blade in a defensive pattern as he moves cautiously forward to guard Persephone.

OOC: Total defense (which I believe is a standard action), move carefully to G26.
