The Faerie Woods [Knight Otu Judging]

Round 1
Heeding it's master's call, a worg (#5) comes barrelling in from somewhere to the north. Charging Rodimus, it rips at the flat footed Monk, dealing 9 damage.

Not truly asleep in her worry for her lost horse, even without her familiar present, Persephone reacts immediately to the Worg assault. Moving to the window she blasts the worg leader for 6 damage. His defensive posture helps him not at all against the Princess's purple fire. In combination with his other wounds, the lead Worg is nearly finished by the magic missiles.

Gorefoot hurls himself at the boarded up window (break DC 14) which, for the moment, withstands his assault.

Another Worg (#2) circles about and comes in flanking Rodimus. It hits for 9 damage.

Trimble wakes up dazedly.

Ishmael wakes up, but cannot reach the window on the west side of the building though Persephone and Ishmael. (May change action, need clarification.)

Worg 3 rushes forward to attack Rodimus, ripping at him for 10 points of damage and rendering him unconcious at -2 hp.

Nars, knowing that Trimble can open the door, yells for him to awaken. Moving quickly (a little DM license here, hope it's OK Nars) he hauls the Wizard to the door and gets him to open it.

Rodimus attempts to stabilize, fails, and drops to -3 hp.

Worg 4 moves up towards Rodimus, warry of possible threats. OOC: Full defense.

The Worg leader lopes into the Darkness, apparently heading to the south side of the cottage.

Percy, who probably can't determine which is the leader, blasts away at the worg's surrounding Rodimus. If one appears wounded, she will target that one. If not, she will shoot at w2.

"Eat purple fire, dogbreath!"

dmg: 10 then 4. I accidently rolled twice. Perhaps the 4 will be for her next attack.
 

OOG: If he can't peer in through the window, then Ishmael will instead just cast Expeditious Retreat before he picks up his shield.

OOC: Is the door open now, or will Trimble get it open this round?

Seeing Nars help the fumbling wizard to the door, Gorefoot casts a quick sheepish glance at the window boards before hurrying over to help open the door.

OOC: If the door is already open, Gorefoot will head outside and around to the side of the cottage with Rodimus.
 

OOC: I think Trimble opened the door last round. Edit: Thanks for the DM license. That was much more useful than my initially proposed action.

IC: Nars follows Gorefoot out the door. He stays close to the cottage wall, hoping to help Gorefoot avoid being flanked. If Ishmael also heads out the door with Gorefoot in round 2 (I think he casts Expeditious Retreat in round 1, not 2 right?) then Nars leaves at least a 5 foot gap between himself and the halflings. They are both much faster than him so that point may be moot.

OOG: On round 2, Ishmael will get out of the hut and smite the first worg he sees. That's if the door is open. If it's not yet open, then he'll spend part of his round opening it and then (if he has time) he'll rush 10 feet outside to survey the area (and perhaps, the damage to Rodimus).
 

Rodimus curses at leaving himself open, trying a swing at the worgs around him as he goes down.
This is becoming a habit, are his last thoughts.

Round 2 Begins

Filled with horsemeat, the Worgs do not stop to rip out Rodimus's throat as yet. One of them, keeping on its guard (full defense) runs around the cottage towards the now open door, ready for any opponent which may emerge.

Persephone targets the closest Worg, which does show some sign of injury, her purple fire dealing 10 points of damage to #4.

Gorefoot, moves boldly out the door, easilly avoiding any interference from the defensive wolf (who doesn't threaten an area at the moment) and rushes to plant his bold-if-small frame over Rodimus's unconcious form.

(Pausing to see if Icycool prefers a less reckless course for the heroic but demonstably mortal Gorefoot. If you want to be against the cottage wall instead, that's OK.)

OOC: *chuckle* Nope, that's fine with me. He'll get himself over to try and defend the fallen Rodimus. And hey, there's no way he's dying now, he's a halfling. They're lucky, right? ;)
