The Faerie Woods [Knight Otu Judging]

OOC: 5 foot roll, instead of five foot step?

You could crawl 5' as a move action, but it would provoke an attack of opportunity. I take it you are blasting the Worg nearest you, even though it is less wounded?

As her attention drifts behind her, to where she wishes to move, Persephone notices that Trimble has apparently removed some more boards from the western window and crawled out through it.

OOC: Yikes! she's kind of screwed! Oh, well, here goes...

BIC: Percy realizes she's unlikely to kill this wolf with her missiles, or roll away without getting bitten again. Her only chance is to kill the more wounded wolf, which would allow Nars to backstab the one on her and allow her to get up. She rolls away from the wolf, trying to dodge its teeth as she sends her purple fire into the one outside, still within her line of vision.

OOC: By rolling away, she is casting defensively. For a 1st level spell, it is DC 16. She has concentration +7. Here goes: DR=20+7=27! Yes! Magic missile damage against Warg 5: 2d4+2=5. Oh well...enough to bring it down?

OOC: In order for Nars to sneak attack, Persephone needs to have a weapon drawn. She could do that during her move action, even if she moves. Hopefully that's not too metagamey. Logically, I doubt a sorcerer lying next to you blasting everything with magic missles would be less distracting than the same holding a knife, but whatever.

OOC: Nars gets a +4 to resist a trip so his modifier is +7, not that it matters when he rolls that badly. Also, worg 5 now has 30 damage. Worg 2 went down cleanly after taking 31. Sorry for the metagaming, but it would make a difference if the worg passed out after tripping Nars. If worg 5 has more hitpoints than worg 2, that's cool.

Assuming the worg is still standing.
IC: Nars squirms on his back, swinging with his swords hoping to fend off the bleeding wolf.
primary attack (1d20=13, 1d6+2=6)
secondary attack (1d20=10, 1d6+1=3)

ooc: I meant "staggering" to be a key word for the staggered condition: at exactly zero hp. You have correctly deduced that they have 30 hp each. Like Gorefoot in the same circumstance, it could nevertheless choose to attack at the cost of driving itself to negative hit points. This is in fact what it does...

Round 8
ic: Worg 5, in a last desperate effort, attempts to savage Nars, but misses. It drops to the floor bleeding from its many wounds.

Edit: Persephone vanishes!

Gorefoot drops to -5 hp.

Trimble, who has made it to Rodimus's body, takes one of the Monk's potions of cure light wounds and pours it down his throat. Rodimus is healed for 7 hp and stabilzes at -1 hp.

Ishmael stabilized at -4.

Worg 3 hits persephone for 6 damage. (Edit: Made 50% miss chance roll. )

(Nars is up next, followed by Persephone.)

Percy, losing her grip on the rest of the battle, as she contemplates death in the fangs of a beast, grasps at her last escape chance. Attempting a smile as she rolls around dodging the wolf's snapping jaws, she waves he left hand weakly. "bye."

OOC: Cast invisibility defensively. DC 17. DR 19+7=26! She's out o' there!

Initiative
Persephone (21) 21 damage -- at 0 hp!
Gorefoot (20) Unconcious at -5 hp
Trimble (19)
Ishmael (18) Unconcious at -4 hp (stable)
Worg 3 (16) 6 damage
Nars (12) 6 damage
Rodimus (9) Unconcsious at -1 hp (stable)
