OOC: Ah, I see my mistake. For some reason I thought that Percy was ahead of worg in the initiative order so the attack in round 7 would have been made when the worg had 30 hitpoints. It went before her though so when it hit Nars it had 25 hitpoints. Sorry.

IC: As the worg collapses, Nars jumps to his feet. He knows that Percy needs a distraction so she can escape. He steps up to the worg (J14) and stabs out desparately, a little two desparately as his sword finds nothing but air.

Round 8 Concludes
Leaping to his feat, nars threatens the Worg to draw it away from the fleeing sorceress.

Round 9 Begins
Persephone gingerly moves out of the way, carefull of her wounds.

Gorefoot drops to -6.

Trimble takes one of Gorefoots cure light wounds potions and administers it to the former Gnome, healing him of 3 damage and stabilizing him at -3.

Worg 3 turns its attentions on Nars, but misses as it snaps at him.

Nars continues stabbing, knowing he has been lucky to fend of the worgs jaws this long, muttering of, "Mangey, er, mutt. Won't you die."

Round 9 concludes
Nars finds his center, and stabs the Worg with two accurate blows. Now that he has the Worg's full attention, he is unable to catch it off guard with blows to sensitive areas, but he nevertheless hits it for 13 damage.

Round 10 Begins
(Persephone can go here, or if she prefers she can simply remain out of the way.)

Trimble, unsure what to do next but seeing that Gorefoot has more healing potions on him pours a second one into the might Halfling. Some of that halfling luck must be working for Gorefoot, as this batch of potion is quite potent, healing him for 9 points of damage and bringing him back to conciousness.

The remaining worg snaps at Nars ineffectively.

For a moment, Nars thought he heard a voice like Ishmael's say, "Get 'em Nars." Urged on by the thought, Nars strikes out again, blood flying again from each of his stabs.

Nars slashes at the Worg once again, scoring two more solid blows and bringing it low!

Battered, bruised, and exhausted, the party has triumphed over the Worgs!

Nars, panting from his battle with the worgs, goes over to the fallen form of Ishmael and picks up the wand from where it had fallen when Ishmael was struck down. He had seen Ishmael use the wand many, too many, times before. He can heal the others, if I can just get him back on his feet. What was the word he uses?

Nars pokes at Ishmael trying different command words.
"Cure Sat!"(13)
"Curare Sot!"(17)
"Carnigan Suit!"(5)
"No, no, that's, er, all wrong."
...

Gorefoot's eyes flutter open, and for a moment he doesn't know where he is. Then he sits up quickly, his vision starting to cloud over red. He glances about and sees the fallen forms of his comrades, the dead or dying worgs, Trimble, and Nars muttering over Ishmael's prone form with a stick. The rage receeding, he spares a quick glance to see if Rodimus is stable. If so, Gorefoot will then run over to Ishmael and administer one of his two remaining potions to the halfling.

Once the life-giving liquid is flowing down Ishmael's throat, Gorefoot will look around somewhat panicked and ask Nars, "Where's Percy?"
