The Font of Useless Knowledge

The inhabitants of ancient Egypt were called mummies. They lived in the Sarah Dessart and traveled by Camelot. The climate of the Sarah is such that the inhabitants had to live elsewhere, so certain areas of the dessert are cultivated by irritation. The Egyptians built the pyramids in the shape of a huge triangular cube. The Pyramids are a range of mountains between France and Spain.

And now you know why Kae'Yoss flunked both Ancient History and Geography. ;)

All of those have use to adventurers, even if it's not information that will be useful every day of their lives. (The hangover one is especially useful to dwarf adventurers and those who have to spend time with them.)

I dunno if I'd call those useful. The hangover one is only useful if that inn is actually close by. Thats also assuming you actually do anything rules-wise for a hangover.

Most of those can be classified as flavor, although a couple could certainly lead to the PC's to try some stuff out/seek out adventure, not necessary a bad thing. Like the Night hag cheese thing, if the PC's go "We're going to enslave night hags and start up a night hag dairy farm in the underdark to make cheese to sell to the drow so we can be rich", well when you've got that level of silliness, so be it :)

  • At least 1.5% of the surface elf population is actually composed of albino drow
  • Many magic spells have alternate material components that work just as well. For example, the spell darkness also works with the stub of a yellow candle that has been burned in broad daylight.
  • All oozes have DR 5/Spoon
Not useless!

-There is a single word that can instantly transform a fully charged Wand of Fireballs into a fully charged Wand of Magic Missiles. Unfortunately anyone speaking this word also dies instantly.

The cause of death is universally multiple hits from a Magic Missile wand, fired by a pissed-off wizard.

Knowing what items a mimic CANNOT turn into isn't useful?

SRD said:
A mimic can assume the general shape of any object that fills roughly 150 cubic feet (5 feet by 5 feet by 6 feet), such as a massive chest, a stout bed, or a wide door frame. The creature cannot substantially alter its size, though. A mimic’s body is hard and has a rough texture, no matter what appearance it might present.

I dunno , I think a comfy chair would be too small anyway.

83. At least three other pieces of useless knowledge use the phrase "8 out of 10".

44. The flumph is the worst monster ever.

102. You rolled the wrong die. Try again!
